...what does that mean for FP's Defender and the GDO Springer?

I'll probably buy the Hasbro Voyager and keep my GDO. I like the GDO's deluxe scale for display purposes in my makeshift assault squad. I'll probably display the voyager with some other set up.

Glad I didn't buy Defender now though. I never did like that build.

So for the rest of you, what's happening to your other Springers that have been serving in your classics display?

I only have GDO Springer. I considered getting Defender but didn't want to spend that much on him. Now his head will be stored for later use and his body will likely become IDW Whirl.

And I'll have a picture of Springer towering over FOC Magnus.

The Springer revealed today is easily replacing my Warbot Defender. Looks better in every mode, might actually be able to stand, and I doubt his knee joints will grind themselves to dust.

As for what I'm actually going to do with it, I don't know. Maybe put it on a different display or a storage box somewhere. I tend to not sell my figures.

I can see folks keeping Defender for display with the other Warbots, but the GDO's? Probably getting tossed. Like I said mine fits the scale and look of my personal squad build or he'd be heading for eBay.

GDO fits fine in my TFP Wreckers display. Warbot, not quite sure. He's a decent Springer but the FoC version is very IDW, which is my preferred design for the character.

I honestly like the look of Warbot Defender over the new Springer (though I do like the headsculpt).

No way I'd ever get rid of my Defender. I'm happy to have a Hasbro Springer coming because it looks great, but Defender is still an A+ figure.

I never got the GDO, not a fan of triple changers that aren't. And since I do have Defender, I'll have to see when I cross that bridge when I come to it - meaning reviews and seeing it in-hand.

Very glad I didn't spend a ton for Defender. Voyager delivers excellently for my collection.

Warbot is still a cool fig, nobody sane will get rid of it because of this. If nothing else, it's a cool thing on its own that fits in with the FP aesthetic of movies figs they released. Oh wait, I must be the only person on this board who has multiple iterations of the same character, excuse me for being such a sole lonely freak who doesn't throw out the previous every time a new Optimus Prime is released.

Warbot Defender is junk. It was junk before. This changes nothing.

Non-issue really. I've got seventy different Optimus Prime toys co-existing peacefully, I don't see why I can't have two or three Springers.

Warbot is great for what he is, GDO was ok, alot of people were happy with him. The new Springer is amazing looking, I will put him with my Masterpiece figures.

I'll probably pick up Hasbro's upcoming Springer release and alternate it in my display with Defender. I like to switch things up from time to time. Either way, I love Defender and have no plans of getting rid of him.

Warbot now will go on it's own shelf with wreckers and the hasbro one hits the classics shelf.

Good thing I never bought Defender OR the GDO. All that hoping for an official Springer really paid off.

This new springer looks thin looking. I never knew so many disliked defender? I never seen one in person but does defender feel like a voyager toy? I thought for that price he was more like a MP feel
