. = this is a period. Used to mark the end of a sentence

, = this is a comma. Used to make a pause in a sentence.

Start with these 2. They will help immensely.

 

And if you don't know where to pause or end a sentence, try saying what you've written out loud. If you find yourself running out of breath you probably need to put some punctuation in there.

 

i'm guessing your using some translation program due to the canel (cancel) and what (want) etc. typos.

So basically, you asked TFS to cancel your capbot pre-order but by mistake they cancelled your MP13 pre-order and the refund went to a closed account.

So you should first contact paypal about the money going to your old closed account and get that back.

Then contact TFSource politely about the confusion over what item you wanted to cancel and they may re-instate your order. I'm guessing you kept or returned the cap-bot they sent you?

 

Also, punctuation.

 

I really dont think its that confusing. Even skimming its pretty clear.

1. Made 2 separate orders.

2. 4 days after second order he asks for the second order (capbot?) because a friend was willing to sell theirs to him instead.

3(Okay this is a little unclear, but I think) Capbot was already shipped so they cancelled the MP13 order as its was the only one still being processed. (I assume from his later posts he included the order number but TFSource didnt check it)

4. So he loses the $169.00 preorder for Soundwave.

5. For some reason he changed paypal accounts in the 3 months since ordering Soundwave and the refund went to an old account which he cant access. (This happened to me once I guy hadnt updated his paypal on ebay after he had lost his password, it was still active but not used, I paid to it and he was unable to get it and it was up to me to
get the money back, paypal didnt make it easy)

Here I agree with most everyone else, if your emails look like these posts. Take a few moments, turn on spell check and add some full stops and stuff. TFSource might have an easier time understanding the problem.

Just articulately send TFsource an email describing the situation in a manner that is understandable, reference both order numbers in the message and let them take care of it. And send back the capbot you don't want.

He found a bag with ten thousand dollars in it and was nice enough to track down the owner, who happened to be an older man, and give it back. The original poster wasn't given a tip for this good deed, not that he expected it, but he feels like he's been having bad luck ever since then.

I know it's tempting to make fun of someone who struggles to communicate, but we're all adults here, right? Just be grateful you don't have the same problem.

I'm sorry but I'm with the other people who stated the obvious. If the email to TFsource was anything like the posts on here then I really have an issue faulting TFsource. If I want to communicate someone I consider it my responsibility to make sure I do so in a clear and coherent manner. Since they are a store, I do agree that TFsource should make sure they fully understand the request, but I would still guess that the majority of the fault lies with the original poster.

Unless it was blatantly obvious who dropped it, I'm probably not going to look for someone who dropped a bag with 10K in it with much vigor. How would you even go about doing it? Put up fliers?

I don't really buy that story, honestly.

I also inexplicably can't remember how much was in it, or in which currency. Actually, you'd better send any bags of money your might find my way, just to make sure we cover all our bases.

 

Periods would help as well. In fact, any punctuation at all would help.
