6 pages and no-one pointed out that you can't refund through Pay Pal after 60 days?

    https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Marketing/bizui/SendRefund-outside

Oh yeah, "whated" and "canceled" should be insta-ban. My eyes were bleeding.

@OP: If we have understood your story correctly, one of the kind souls in this thread will write a concise letter for you to fill in your details and then copy & paste to both TFSource and Pay Pal.

Off topic slightly, but how much does being a sponsor cost? I can see the point of not bashing a sponsor just because you felt like it, but if there is a reason to discuss the sponsor, how much do they have to pay to be protected from the repercussions on TFW?

On topic: Contact PayPal about getting the money back, if TFS says they sent the money back, they did, they aren't trying to screw people out of money.

Second, contact TFS and ask them if they will honor the original pre-order price and put a pre-order back in the system for you. You don't have to pay till they get it, so that gives you time to get the original money back from PayPal.

Good luck, hope you get your money and the awesome MP-13 at the original price!

I think constructive criticism is fine but a thread like this where someone is saying that a sponsor sucks and not giving a valid reason is suitable for a warning. This guy's problem is that he sends TFSource a (presumably) illegible email which they misinterpret and then they refund his money to his email address, not knowing that he's changed it. Plus you can't refund to a different account.

None of this is TFSource's fault realistically and so the OP is bashing them for a problem he has created. So yeah a warning would be fair enough.

If he'd started a thread saying "TFSource refund problem" and then calmly wrote out the issue he had and asked for advice then it'd be somewhat different.

Please, attempt to calmly and properly state your problem, as from what I've gathered, there is no reason for you to bash the store when your English is very jumbled and incoherent.

If the first post in this topic is any indication of how his e-mail to Tfsource was written, I can't blame them at all for whatever resulted from them trying to make sense of it.

If your capbot order was already processed and being filled, which it seems was the case since you said it was shipped out right after you sent the e-mail, it was likely too late to cancel it. They probably never even saw your e-mail before shipping it out.

From my understanding it went like this...

    1. Pre-Ordered MP-13
    2. Ordered Capbots
    3. Canceled Capbots
    4. Capbots Shipped
    5. TF gets back from vacation and canceled MP-13 since it's the only one on file because capbots shipped.
    6. Refunded to closed Paypal account
    7. Op is now mad..

eh... whatever.. contact paypal..re-open the account.. and how do you close an account, that you currently have orders out with? You never close an account until everything associated with it, has been taken care of.

Matter of fact, I've had the same paypal account for like 10 years with several difference bank accounts/cc's on it... why would you ever need to close a paypal account?

I've cancelled preorders before by contacting them. When did you try to cancel yours? I'm wondering if they are cracking down. My understanding is that they don't allow cancelling of preorders that are paid for and received by them. They end up holding extra stock of something that way. But from my experiences with them, they are very understanding and try to please their customers whenever possible.

Because I think it's funny how we're all trying to figure out what the hell is going on and decipher this guy's rants, not because I think TFSource sucks.

Don't worry, I never thought for a second that you thought that TFsource sucked. I think it is funny as well for the same reason.

I have to say this laundry list of problems is one of the reasons I haven't tried TFsource yet. I may someday- I've considered it a few times on items I sort of wanted BBTS was out of.

I used TF Source a few times. Kinda wish they wouldn't have screwed me with the CC thing. Can't go back to them because of that. Same with TFCC.

From experience, you can't close an account yourself, and Paypal will only close it after it has been inactive for at least three years.

The only thing I can think of is that Paypal restricted the OP's account after detecting potentially suspicious activity.

You typed it out like Blurr. Really. And that is a compliment, putting aside your inconceivable words

Anyway..I'm sure you can sort it out with Tfsource. Try to reason with them, and hope they can reason with you.

At least they do ship to your address. What I cannot fathom is how Tfsource decides not to send to a specific country just because there were history of "fraud" cases involving that country. Lame. And there in the shipping country list, you have like tons of other countries, even some unheard of. Amazing

Me neither. It feels like one of those stories people say to prove how nice they are.

Couple this with an overly belligerant tone against an online vendor, and the add that what Omnius said about Paypal not usually closing accounts and suddenly things really don't add up.

Crappy punctuation and spelling is kinda like the icing on the cake.

You know that those companies don't actually handle the credit card details themselves? All websites use a third party to process credit cards so it was the third party your CC details were taken from, not TFSource or TFCC. Both have already confirmed that it was their CC processor who was accessed, not their sites.

And you can go back to using them, just use Paypal. It's not rocket science.
