Ah, I see. Well, the man has a legitimate problem. If all that's wrong is his tone and the thread title, couldn't they be altered without having to come down on it and him quite so hard?

People post threads pertaining to site sponsors all the time, even if they're pertaining to a mixed or negative purchasing experience. The main difference is that the thread titles aren't as abrasive, if at all. If a mod changes the title and cleans up some of the language in the author's first post, then it should be fine.

Yeah I think the thread title could be changed but when TFSource was going through those alleged CC hack issues, many threads was deleted and many warnings were sent. After reading the post itself and seeing the replies from the OP, I'm really starting to feel it's more of a paypal issue than a TFSource one.

Okay, so my take is:

1. You pre-ordered and paid for MP-13 from TFsource.
2. You decide to cancel the pre-order, and requested a refund.
3. The refund was issued to the payment source you have on record with TFsource, an old Paypal account.

If the refund went through, then as far as TFsource is concerned, you have been refunded. They can't just give you another $170 until the original refund has been accounted for. If it's a Paypal problem, you should seek assistance from Paypal.

He shouldn't get banned. He has an issue with an online toy company, just happens to be a sponsor. They were a sponsor when the whole shadow scyther fiasco happened, and they really got bashed and nobody got banned. Or the whole credit card thing. No, they aren't untouchable just because they are a sponsor.

First chase up Paypal and find out exactly where you stand and what will have happened to the money. Then send TFsource a calm, coherent email with high priority to their customer services department clearly stating - in bullet points - everything that has happened, from when you originally placed the orders, right up to where you are now.
Be clear about everything, be firm but keep it civil.
It's a mistake, it can be rectified, but getting yourself worked up isn't going to help here.

For those with closed Paypal accounts, can they be reactivated by Paypal in a case like this?

Seeing how the OP clearly has problems explaining his full situation on here, I would guess his original email to TF Source would be equally incoherent - and therefore easy to misunderstand/ mix up.

Sometimes I believe that there should be tests to pass to be able to access the internet.
