Two MP cassette players in a row is a terrible idea.

 

Blaster would be cool and I'd buy it. But I do t think it would happen and I would prefer something else.

I think the next new mold MP is either going to be Prowl, Jazz or Megatron. Either of those would be great.

Also, I don't understand the people that say Blaster would be a retool of Soundwave. The line is heading into an new direction where accuracy if the main focus. There will be no Blaster from Soundwave or Sunstreaker from Sideswipe.

 

I doubt Blaster will be next, or even the one after, but I hope he's soonish, just so I can have the Autobot cassettes.

There's also Rosanna and Sundor for retools/repaints.

 

I only want soundwave. That's all I want from the MP line.

 

Last I heard was that Prowl and Galvatron were the next additions to the line, and this makes perfect sense really. Prowl can easily be redone into MP Smokescreen and MP Bluestreak, and Galvatron is a popular enough character like Grimlock/Soundwave in terms of lack of necessity to repaint, however I can imagine they could go the Grimlock route and do a 'toy accurate' and 'cartoon/comic accurate' re-paint option.

I think they could re-work a Shockwave into Galvatron.

Another thought that would be an easy retool and just might kill some third party prices... MP Cone Heads in MP-11 style?

How about MP Mini Bots? I saw a photo that they were thinking of including a MP Huffer with MP-10, it seems they had engineered it just not included it.

Although they do like making Convoy in every possible form so another MP-10 in black, dead, clear, chrome, rainbow colored... etc... Seeing as they have only done it in one color so far is a possibility.

Personally, I'd love to see a Masterpiece Shockwave. If the next one had to be an Autobot I'd prefer someone like Hound if only because he'd make a good Christmas or birthday present for my GF.  

THIS. I would actually consider buying a Masterpiece Blaster if he had a transformable cartoon-to-comic head.

 

I say Masterpiece Shockwave. He's got some popularity again with DOTM & being in FOC & Prime. Bonus points for Takara for giving a big F-you to the 3rd party company making one. Same thing they did with Soundwave. Company put all this $$ into R&D then Takara comes along, kicks them in the nuts and shows off an official one. We haven't heard about that one in months, meaning its probably scrapped & the company lost all their invested money.

 

  I know man, I don't get it. Masterpiece is the one TF line where inappropriate retooling would ruin the whole premise, yet people are actually going out of their way to ask for crazy retools! Isn't it supposed to be the other way round? Aren't we supposed to be demanding individual molds for individual characters? I blame Classics for this shortsighted mentality.

Anyway, about Blaster, I say let the 3rd party have this and TT can move on with the bigger characters.

I'm also a fan of the idea of more cars in the same scale as sideswipe.
I'd love a prowl (door wings, hood chest, shoulder cannons .. thats everything I like!)

But what I would really really really like is a master piece combiner. Just so curious as to what that would be like (eventhough I probably couldnt afford to own it). Still, I dont think its likely.

 

IMO no. But i think with the effort they have put into the tapes and main torso of Soundwave. It would probably make financial sense to do a retool to blaster. It wouldnt need that much effort.

For me Sunstreaker, prowl and hound. Then Dinobots (but thats just never gonna happen)
