More than whatever figure I try and post here. I already have $135 due to a local who's selling a large chunk of his collection.

No MP for me..Even though I really want Lambor and Soundwave really bad, I'm going to wing it and see if Hasbro eventually released Sideswipe stateside.

I'm totally going to get Grimlock FoC so that's 25bucks right off the bat, now I'm debating on which other FoC figure to get, Starscream is a go, Ultra Magnus is a maybe..And Sideswipe is a mix, I can't tell if he's a good figure, or just horribly bad from what the reviews I've watched.

I'm hoping to keep it under $3k this year but we'll see

Edit: But off the top of my head:

    For sure:
    MMC Hexatron
    Maketoys Giant - Got it
MP Soundwave and possibly some extra cassettes
    FP Menasor
    FP Warbugs
    Most of the Generations line
Most of the new KRE-O sets
Hopefully finish up my Alternators collection - Finishing up in the next week or so

    Maybe:
MMC Predaking - Preordered first two figures
FT Shockwave (probably... hard to say no to it right now) - Got it
TFC Uranos (depending on how the final combined mode looks)
MP Red Alert - Got it
New Alternity GT-Rs - Had them in my POL but cancelled them because of the high release price :\

    Low priority:
FP Function X (not really digging the blocky, more "G1" styling, but we'll see what comes out)
MMC Seekers (very low priority since I already own the Awakening version) - Picked up Skywarp during the BBTS sale so now I think I'll have to get the other guys soon :lol  :\

Hopefully not much. Things I WANT are

    MP Soundwave
MP Frenzy with Ravage [...and that's a maybe]
    Alternity Fort Max

...aaaand that's it. Not sure if I want the other MP cassetes at the moment, not dipping into mainlines and Alternity Convoy and Star Saber look great, but I'm not feeling their price.

The first part of my list is around a G.

That second half is around a G.

I will most likely get Fort Max so that's already $2300. And that does not include figures that are rumoured to be coming out this year that I know I will be getting. I get the feeling I will hit the $3000-$3500 mark this year. I am going to start selling a lot of my TFs to fund the next chapter of my collecting so lets see how that goes. Now that they cater to collectors, this hobby got real.

Aiming for 18 000 - 1 500 every month, provided I meet my own personal goals.

What are you planning on getting? $1500 a month is not doable un less you go multiples or vintage.

I purchased 40 figures in 2012 for a total of about $1900. This is a slight increase in cash from 2011 (when I spent approximately $1800), but a sharp decrease in quantity (from 76 to 40). I guess I focused more on high-end stuff - Masterpieces and 3rd party - since the regular Hasbro offerings were not my cup of tea. The most expensive figure I purchased was not a figure at all - MakeToys' Battle Tanker cost me a whopping $180 with shipping and import taxes (I definitively overpaid, but it is still one of my favorite purchases of 2012). The next two are MP-8 and MP-11 which cost me $160 each (delivered).

Going by those trends and my current want list, I predict I will spend more than $2000 on TFs in 2013 - I have about 40 figures worth about $2000 on my high priority wanted list, and that doesn't include Green Giant (I *must* have him), Fort Max, and the inevitable FP Menasor. Along with the obligatory LEGO purchases (LOTR and modular city buildings), keeping my $300 per month limit for hobby stuff is going to be really tough.

When MP Soundwave is released, I'll be spending between $170-190 (depending on the shipping fee from Robot Kingdom with Registered Air Mail). Then I wanna go for Henkei Dark Skyfire, which will cost me about $70-ish. After that, I have to save up for my birthday and I think at that time I'll order some Arms Micron figures, specifically Nemesis Prime, Rumble, Frenzy, Wildrider, and Smokescreen, which in total might cost me close to $200. After my birthday, I might wanna go and try to complete the Cybertron and Animated lines simultaneously and that'll cost me a ton.

    ;)  guilty and guilty.

I haven't planned everything out yet - I have a vague idea along the lines of:

MP - I haven't really gotten started on my MP collection, so I will get started on that - probably with the new scale, I got Grimlock though.

Henkei I became a MISB collector between the waves here, which means I have a MISB collection and a Lose collection - I intend to finish off both this year

Other classics linesSame thing as Henkei, going for duplicates of everything not really going to cost much to complete, but I have a few heavy hitters here, like I need 2x Alpha Trion for example. but depending on what happens in 2013 this one might cost me fair bit as we see new releases.

Third party This one is going to drain quite alot of money this year - I need another Hercules and 2x Uranos...that's roughly $1500 just there. Add all the other goodies that have come out and keeps being released and it's gonna cost a bit.

G1 Sweeps I have a quite substantial amount of Scourges as is, but...have you ever seen "Conspiracy Theory" It's an old Mel Gibson movie - there is a scene there where he explains how he can't go by a bookstore and seeing a "catcher in the rye" without buying it...as if something compells him to buy it - I'm like that with G1 Scourge.

G1 Exclusives and reissues There are a few exclusives that I need, I'm looking for more city guardians right now I got 6, but I'm going for 14 more, then I'm reluctant to pull the trigger on the Shattered ass soundwave & Blaster set, but will pick that up, Six shot...opened my 2010 Predaking, so will need a new one of those, will reluctantly buy the Anime Devastor as well. I'm down for 3 Fortress Maximusses as well so that'll cost a pretty penny.

G1 Japanese MISB/opened for inspection collection And here is the biggest cost for this year. I'm going for a MISB G1 Japanese collection, not just the exclusives, the whole shebang...which will be hard as they are quite rare and hard to come by. It's not really something I can plan my purchases around, but will have to be on the lookout for.

G1 Collection replacement There were a few things I got which were either broken like Trypticon or had reproduction parts (even if it stated that it didn't when I bought it) like Zarak or Loafer - whilst not on the top of my priority list they will need to be replaced this year.

G1 collection upgrades There are a few things I want to upgrade my G1 collection with, a few Crazy devy things, get some bling going for FM with gold chromed weapons - silly things really, but fuck it - I'm doing it anyways.

Shapeways I used to be quite the 3D modeler, even got a degree in it collecting dust somewhere - If I find the time I intend to brush up on my skills and create some stuff...stay tuned.

Think that's it - few things I want to pick up from a Car robots, and I'd like a complete Energon line, but will most likely only be able to get a few ones to round off the money spent each month to $1500.
