@Alucrad77--> I actually use a 50mm lens for majority of my pics!!!:)  I've only used the 55-250 lens a handful of times. I usually use that for my kids gymnastics and sporting events!!!

Nice. Try doing Bokeh next time with the telephoto. From what I read online you can really blow out the background amazingly in portraits and such.

What DSLR you using? I bet the sensor is large and therefore allows for easier bokeh on shots like the one in your pic. For me with my new point and shoot, it's tricky to do that. I can do it, but I cannot blow out the background as much.

just curious too, have any of you used sigma lenses before? that's the brand my wife got me cause it was substantially less then the comparable nikon, but it's pretty rock solid quality. I'm actually very impressed. I haven't used it for many tf shots yet cause I don't have the indoor distance to set it up properly. but I'm digging it a lot...maybe more so then the default nikon lens that came with my camera.

I only intend to buy the mold once, but now I wish I'd waited for Skyquake. The colours look so much nicer.

Very nice. The blue background goes really well to set off the green. Great shots.

that blue background :thumb  and a very sharp image of skyquake !

Agree! Bokeh with telephoto = yummy :)

    :lol :lol :lol

what caught my eye the very first time was indeed the reflection on Jazz's windows and I guess the first impression for me sticks the most: the Jazz picture for me. Both pictures are great btw

Anyway just to share: I'm using a 16-50mm sony e-mount kit lens on my recent shots, using the 50mm mostly as well

On tripods, I've got one that I got for xmas a couple years ago and it works like a charm. Marking on it say Platinum Plus by Sunpack and 6400 UT, but I can't find it on Amazon. All the angle joints can be tightened and while I haven't tried it with a really have camera, I think it would hold just fine.

Gents, just want to chime in on the bokeh. it's got nothing to do with telephoto or length of the lens. it's aperture, the physical blades on the lens, and camera-to-subject-to-background ratio. every lens will perform differently at difference distances. i have a 28mm lens with a 1.8 inch aperture and a 12 inch minimum focus distance. if i open up the aperture and put a subject a foot away and a background 20 feet away, the bokeh's going to blow minds because of the wide aperture and the c-s-b ratio. if you want max bokeh, get wide lenses (f2.8 and below) and put your backgrounds further away. most of the best-rated bokeh lenses are 35mm, 50mm and 85mm. primes (fixed focal lengths) are the way to go, because they are significantly cheaper than teles with f2.8 or below.

I have to say, as much as I enjoy MP's and all, I think they did a shit job on the Red Alert/Sideswipe Alt mode. I am extremely disappointed with the shit they did on the arms. It just screams lazy and it destroys the aesthetics of a beautiful car. Really annoyed shooting this. At least the Bot mode looks good. But this is a fail for me.

Gorgeous pictures of a great figure. TFSource has some extras pop up today and I got to snag me one. He is the last figure I need and then another line of on screen characters is complete.
