Honestly, I prefer to make my lightboxes. Not only is it cheaper but I get more freedom with the materials I use and the dimensions.

That is what most of us use. I would just recommend the largest one you can get. With cropping and shot angles, you would be surprised how a 16" or 24" doesn't work for what your trying to do depending on the figure.

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. Thank you for the kind words, and I hope my work and our conversations here help you get to the next level!! you've come along way over the last year or so, it's been fun watching the progression.

same goes for all the long-time posters here; i've noticed a lot of evolution of your skillsets. everyone's been doing an awesome job and presenting both hobbies (TF and photography) in a great way. I urge you all to let the hobby take you where it will - there's a lot of fun to be had in picture-taking beyond toys, and the ladies love a good photographer. ;D

What's best measures u guys use? I figured my tallest figure is under 18 inches. U guys use the ebay ones too? It has lights and stuff all included. One I see on 30 bucks is total 16 inch but it says 8 inch wide?

What I should do is ask my wife since she's a does photo stuff with her fancy canon dslr lol

This! That is a very important factor for me as well :)

Love that macro shot of stylor :thumbs2:

Thanks Syd! HA Barricade's legs seem awkward to me, but he looks great nonetheless for me too :D

That is one evil looking matrix of leadership I must mention again!

"Look at who needs help now huh, Hot Rod~" say Optimus
loved the lighting you have set up for this picture

Jazz is a hard figure to take photos of (for me at least anyway); looks great in yours RM!

My contribution after a surprise find and purchase at my local store: Kickback! Hope they will release the other two, though judging by Hasbro's track record, i highly doubt so -_-

^Cute, it's like me looking for my glasses. Well at least my glasses don't have legs :lol

brr-icy - Nem Prime pic looks great, and kudos on putting all his parts in place (which I can't, though he's better than the BT versions), so do Reflectors. Red Insecticon seems a tad too bright and some others look a bit too dark, TFA Soundwave can be tricky with that angle....his chunky shoulders get in the way. Great stuff :)

RICEMASTER -  I know jazz is very photogenic, but that is an awesome image.

I rememberd I also had HA Soundwave, but that makes me want Barricade more >_< Do you have dlx TFTM Barricade? If you do could I ask for a shot of them together?
I LOVE that Matrix. I'm glad I don't live in Japan, or I'd have wanted to get them all.
Great Kickback shots :D  His purple glows in your photos.
