    Prime RID/Arms Micron.

Bought AM-12 Breakdown back in July on a whim while waiting for a flight at an airport overseas. Loved it.

Avoided the rest of the line but got hooked again when Silas Breakdown and Nemesis Prime were released. Ended up getting the TRU Japan exclusive Battle Shield Prime too.

For a line I was avoiding, I've now got four figures with only two unique molds. Damn.

The Breakdown mold just looks plain awesome and I love transforming the RID/AM Optimus mold.

I coveted after FP Colossus Bruticus from the moment I laid eyes on him. Sadly that was a long time after the set saw initial release and to pick it up looked like it might break the bank. When it was reissued I practically jumped for joy!

Of course, now I'm sat waiting for the FP set to see release in Jan and I've just passed up an original set on eBay for about the same price! Such is life.

    - EHobby Destron Mini-bots, thought I'd never get a set for less than US$200. Got one for US$150, MIB, never transformed or displayed.

    - TFP AM Orion Pax, never thought I'd get him for the price of a regular AM, but patience is really a virtue, hehe.

    - MOSC G1 Bumblebee for less than US$150. Got one for US$115, case fresh.

Originally didn't care for the HFTD Tomahawk mold at all, but was able to go to Botcon this year and got the Spinister and holy cow I loved it. I now own 3 versions of it and might buy the 4th and last if I ever decide to get Vortex DotM.

Urban camo Ruination (please not that it is NOT Arctic camo, that would be predominantly white)

The price on this one was always just a touch too hight to justify, and every time I thought I was gonna get a deal, I'd get sniped. So I resigned myself to never owning it unless I had some sort of windfall. However, one year at a local con in Indy, I came across one MISB at a booth for $25. I looked at it rather long, and set it down so I could do a full lap around the dealer booths. The dealer looks at me starting to leave and says "I can do $15." I told him I'd consider it and stopped to talk to my friend at his booth three tables down. My wife walks up to me about six minutes later and hands me the Ruination.

Arms Micron Airachnid. We may still only have wave 1 of Prime over here (well, I saw one or two wave 2 figures once upon a time, and then the New Zealand scalpers turned up and said "let us be assholes", and now they overcharge for them online), and it's cheaper for me to import Arms Micron figures than buy the Hasbro versions, but...... I really wanted that Micron...... By the way, in case anyone is wondering, Airachnid is REALLY, REALLY bad.

Also, I never thought I'd get Hercules. Too expensive. Then I saw Dr. Crank's neat action feature. Then I bought him. Then I had to get the rest. I've still only got two of them so far, but I'll be getting the rest soon. And then Uranos begins. And thus begins a downward spiral. I seriously don't know why I even have a wallet.

Oh, I got PCC Leadfoot, as well. I never cared for the PCC line, and..... I still don't. He's kinda neat, but I'm not gonna rush to buy more (although all those third-party add-ons aren't exactly helping).

I think the most recent one for me was Hasbro MP-10.

Was never really interested in the toy, and I made the decision to get MP-12 instead. Also, with the holidays so close he was just out of budget. That and here in Canada the figure was quite elusive.

Then one day a couple friends convinced me to go to the casino with them and I luckily won a couple hundred dollars. The following day I went to TRU to return some GDO figures and happened to see one MP-10 sitting on the shelf for 30% off. Figured $70 wasn't a bad deal so I bought it.

Anyways, I ended up loving this figure and am disappointed in myself for not wanting him in the first place. Had it not been for extreme luck I know I would have regretted passing him by down the line.

Another figure that springs to mind is Universe Inferno. I was initially disappointed with him when the first photos appeared at Botcon. He lacked the head box, wings and ladder that I associate with the character. But after I got Henkei Red Alert, I felt obligated to buy his partner for my collection. :p

Great swathes of the Prime line. I was intending to stick to the core show cast only. That clearly went out the window when I realised I have nearly 50 toys from said line.

Arms Micron Airachnid. If not for a Japanese campaign Matrix, I'd have gotten her at retail yesterday.

MP Grimlock knew I wanted him since I hear of the US release and pre-ordered him as soon as I saw him on TRU's site. Wasn't sure if I'd get him though since similar things happened as did with MP-10. Well he came and I don't think I could stop fiddling with him for a week straight.

BW rattrap one of my fav characters that I'd missed out on when he originally was released. Never really thought I'd get him since he was often either broken, missing limbs, or missing his gun. Well BBTS of all places had one loose for $55, a bit high but I jumped on it and added him to my POL. Never regretted it since he was in such a good condition.

Car Robots Black Convoy I had RID Scourge but I never had intentions of opening him since I had no way of properly displaying him without messing up his chrome. BBTS had him for $36 so I snagged him. There were some issues, but in the end I was pretty happy to have a Black Convoy to mess around with.

RID spychanger scourge/ x-brawn two pack- Honestly had a hard time finding him, but after about a month of looking found two at two different stores. X-brawn is pretty neat, but Scourge was what I was really after.

WFC Darkside Optimus and Megatron- Pretty much gave up on this set since I had plans to get two since I had issues in the past with primes arm (the bit where you tab the legs into the arms always ended up stressed it can be fixed but as a precaution). Didn't much care for the price and hoped it would go on sale. It went down and then was sold out. When it went back in stock at a significant discount I kind of worried since I didn't have the money at the time. Ended up with two sets for the price of one when BBTS had around 4 left or so. Haven't stopped messing with either since.
