Toys R Us raises the prices of deluxes to $15.99!!!

Was going to buy another one today with the 20% off membership coupon today in store until I saw they raised it ANOTHER $10 to $129.99. The manager would not adjust the price to the $119.99 website price AND allow me to use the coupon.

Those that got it for $99 got a hell of a bargain!

Oh wow. I got hosed on my replacement from a few weeks ago so I ordered another one yesterday at $119. Glad I didn't wait.

I'm so glad I got mine at $79.99 back when it was first hitting shelves. Probably should have bought more than one.

I guess I'm destined not to get it because that puts it out of my current budget, damn really disappointed with this monopolization on a store exclusive

So.... was the 99 dollar price an error? Seems weird that TRU would keep jacking-up the price because it isn't rare or hard to find.

TRU is probably trying to make up for all the preorders at 99.99 they had to fill (mine included!). I'm sure they are thinking given Christmas is right around the corner it shouldn't detur sales too much, if any. Come post-Christmas time I'm sure it will drop again. Maybe not to that nice 99.99 we all saw, but people can hope. We'll see what happens.
