People need to remember this is still currently 50% cheaper than the Takara version and the best part is, it is actually identical, if not better. I can see this figures price catch up to Takara's version in a few years time, while not exactly the same price, the difference in their price won't be 50%. MP Grimlock is a good example of the Hasbro version's price substantially increasing after its initial release to where it's nearly same price as Takara's version on the aftermarket. Just saying, all this talk of it being $20 more expensive will be replaced by why is this the same price as Takara's version. That is my prediction and I'm calling that. Seriously get him before he goes above $200...

^^^ i dont share your sentiment because of the large production run, i read somewhere they had upped it to over 20000 units, keep in mind scalpers are going to be close to returning them soon just like the WII u for those who didnt sell in the first week..

that said, if the 20% increase or so is really putting the hurt on you for owning one of these save a little bit more. take your time, to be honest we all knew he was coming for a few months and we all should have been able to save a bit more if you really wanted something, sans those who are out of a job and whatnot.. its not impossible to save 20 bucks,

tbh if you really wanted him, u would be out there grabbing cans out of a trashcan to recycle for some dough... just saying....

20000 is an awful lot, you sure about that? I would have thought no more than 10k, that's just a guess though. It would be good to find some database with all these details on figures.

I know it's easy for me to say, having one already - but the TRU MP-10? At $129.99? It's a steal at twice the price. It's STILL worth every penny. Yes, the extra $20 then, and now the extra $10 sucks - but I honestly feel it's still totally worth it. It's easily one of the best Optimus Prime toys ever made, IMHO.

Now, the deluxe Prime toys I saw at Target the other day for $15.49??? THERE'S an overpriced toy. But MP-10 at $129.99? That's CHEAP.

I got mine at just under $130 shipped directly from the website. I saved myself somewhere in the avenue of $100-150 by opting for the Hasbro version, so I still think this is a good deal despite TRU's shitty handling of this exclusive.

Guess it was coming. Walmart and Target had been beating them out for most-overpriced retailer for a bit there.

I guess they cleared out enough stock and now it's time for "holiday" pricing.

Yeah, as far as I'm concerned Hasbro can burn in hell if they're going to do this AND lower the size and quality.

I guess it's about time. TRU couldn't have the LOWEST prices, that's just wrong.

Even PRID Bumblebee which was clearanced in store for $3, hahah

But yeah... These prices are starting to get a little silly. Pretty soon the only TFs I get will be what ends up making it to Tj Maxx/Marshalls heh.
