And let the blaming of Hasbro for what retailers decide to price things at begin.

I'm still good, I buy things at Meijer here in the midwest, where Voyagers cost $20 and Deluxes cost $12...and some times they go on sale for $10!!!

Think about it this way guys:

    Higher prices = more BOGO/sales.

im surprised ppl are surprised by all this.

and yet ppl complain and blame hasbro. if you cant afford them at these prices then manage your spending. its not impossible.

also the economy and the cost of goods have gone up.

ppl complain hasbro, but if they didnt raise prices they loose money and then there would be even a bigger lack of toys.

Glad I was able to pre-order the two I have for $99.99...especially considering my local TRU still has yet to receive a single MP-10. No shelf tag. Nothing.

Did Hasbro raise the prices? Hasbro's price to the retailers (per item) is below that item's MSRP. If the prices are going up on old stock the prices are only changing at the retailer level, since all that product would have been purchased from Hasbro already.

Wish our Meijers sold/stocked more. In the last 12 months our Meijers stocked Deluxes once. Most of the year before that the only Deluxes they had were old DoTM release they refuse to clearance. It looked like they were just happy to leave the toy section dying an until Prime Deluxes FINALLY showed up about two months ago I rather wondered if they were even going to ever bother again.

Any interest in Generations? Because it wasnt just the TFP Deluxes that went up.

I think it's more of a local thing...it's still $14.99 for a deluxe at my TRU.

and thats true only of Prime Deluxes, Meijer has been on the ball the entire prime line, stocking every other size class often first and well before other retailers...and at a lower cost. but (at least here) now that they are stocking deluxes they are moving through the waves quickly, saw a Vehicon even on the shelves a couple weeks ago.

I agree. Even at the increased price it's still considerably cheaper than I would have ever imagined we would get it for here in the US.

they also jack up prices because they are giving 10% back in rewards coupon later on and people are currently using rewards coupons/groupons

they also like high prices once everyone gets those nice 10% rewards coupons in january

true, but when the new generation figs came out as well as prime that was when the first initial price hike went up. so yeah, maybe some stores try to hold out as long as they can and have no choice to raise the price.
