I can see this figures price catch up to Takara's version in a few years time, while not exactly the same price, the difference in their price won't be 50%. MP Grimlock is a good example of the Hasbro version's price substantially increasing after its initial release to where it's nearly same price as Takara's version on the aftermarket. Just saying, all this talk of it being $20 more expensive will be replaced by why is this the same price as Takara's version. That is my prediction and I'm calling that. Seriously get him before he goes above $200... ![]() TFW Feedback WANT: Hasbro-G1 Scorponok box + tray |

I would have thought no more than 10k, that's just a guess though. It would be good to find some database with all these details on figures. ![]() TFW Feedback WANT: Hasbro-G1 Scorponok box + tray |

At $129.99? It's a steal at twice the price. It's STILL worth every penny. Yes, the extra $20 then, and now the extra $10 sucks - but I honestly feel it's still totally worth it. It's easily one of the best Optimus Prime toys ever made, IMHO. It takes a special kind of man to be Glenn Close. Now, the deluxe Prime toys I saw at Target the other day for $15.49??? THERE'S an overpriced toy. But MP-10 at $129.99? That's CHEAP. I saved myself somewhere in the avenue of $100-150 by opting for the Hasbro version, so I still think this is a good deal despite TRU's shitty handling of this exclusive. ![]() |
