Just a quick question here. Do you think Platinum Omega Supreme will ever come to US shores? I mean, we did get the Year of the Dragon Optimus Prime for 1/2 price here in the states.

So I am wondering, do I wait for the state release, or is it not that likely to happen? BTW, this is the big guy! Looks awesome but he needs a hand. I can overlook that though.

Well, I wonder. I mean Year of the Dragon Optimus Prime is $129 on Robot Kingdom and Amazon is at $49. BBTS is the most expensive of course ($152).

 

I could see OP going for $60-70. And I will jump at that.  

 

Yeah, but that price dropped a LOT as I think he hasn't been selling well at all. It definitely didn't start at $50, pretty sure it was closer to $100 and then $80.

 

I wonder if there will be a third-party 'de-mittenification' arm.

 

I'd want that but the cost would prolly be more than I'd pay.

 

He started at $85, according to Amazon's list price on the website. I don't remember him ever being close to $100.

 

i really do wonder if this is being rereleased now because of he upcoming project genesis 3rd party release. Both would fit a pseudo/updated G1/classics type display, and the official one is 1/3 the price (even if it is an older design). I wish someone would just do a MODERN but not "updated" stylistically version of an Omega Supreme and have hime be in scale with Herc. haha. This official release does look nice in the promo shot but i really don't like the alt mode at all, nor his non claw hand

 

We first saw mention of this long before the third party omega supreme was ever announced.

 

He was $99.99 at one point. Around when G2 Bruticus went up for preorder around August-ish.

Hasbro UK were also saying they're looking at ways to bring it over here  

 

Such a shame this thing is going to look so dull in that mostly flat grey deco.

You know, it doesn't bother me that much. I mean, I would buy a Cannon if they made one, but the claw doesn't bother me that much.

Still, I'm expecting it to be a nice piece. And I've been wanting energon supreme/sentinel mold for some time now so it works out well.

Now let's just see that US price around $80 and I'll be happy.
