Lets be honest that reveal of the reissue Fortress Maximus Blew all our minds and put so many Smile's on a lot of fan's faces who didn't get a chance to own one due to outrageous prices. Now not to sound to Optimistic but who here thinks that the next reissue(after Fort max) or very soon will be G1 scorponok who is kind of the same boat as Fort max for fans and not being able to own him due to ridiculous reasons.

Yes, not because I need it, becaue it opens the door ever so slightly to an eHobby Black Zarak. If there's an eHobby Grand Max I'll be even more hopeful. I won't hold my breath for either one of course.

agreed about the e hobby, also just imagine that more 3rd party stuff that would possibly come out because of it, eg. crazydevy, headrobots, etc. I just think give reissue's to the more expensive/harder to aquire g1's overlord should go in thier as well. Wish thier was a way to email them suggestions.

I'd love a Scorponok reissue, and I support the idea of a non-crumbling eHobby Blackzarak.

Some people here have already confirmed it. While it sucks cause my less than minty Scorponok would be close to worthless, it's a price worth paying for a Black Zarak.

Only if interest in G1 Scorponok would lead to a Classic styled Scorponok or a Classic styled re-tooling of the Unicron era figure.

Confirmed Scoponok is next? I don't think so. The pattern for the reissues seems to have been of stuff they already had molds left of. Some one explain to me why if I am wrong. I read once a few years ago they only had about 1/2 the molds left from the G1 line. Some were damaged and some "dissapeared". I would love a Scorponok but will be happy with stuff not already done as well.

I think there is no reason why we shouldn't get all the G1 leaders. We have Ginrai, Fortress, and Star Convoy - I think Scorponok, Overlord, Star Saber and Deszaras all should come out to complete them.

Assuming they have the molds, I can't see why not. Although Japan has a habit of short changing the toys of bad guys...

Add me to the list for a non-GPS Black Zarak and Grand Max too!

I made the mistake of buying a Scorponok body on eBay for $100, thinking I'd just buy all his individual parts separately, until I saw the ridiculous prices people are selling those parts for ($100 just for Fasttrack's little guns? Really?) If they do Encore him, I'd buy him just for his parts and shove the Encore body in a drawer.

I really doubt they're going to follow up the biggest transformer ever with yet another gigantic transformer. Probably something smaller.

Possibly, but with the releases of twincast and soundblaster, then fort max, they're already diving pretty deep into the headmaster series. I'm basically game for anything from that. I really dig the toys from that era a lot.

So yeah whether we start getting the regular headmasters or they decide to tackle scorpy, I'd be very happy with either. I would think a scorpy reissue is at least scheduled sometime between now and the 30th anniversary though. He's a very integral part of the franchise, and how can you have a fort max minty fresh sitting there without his mortal enemy?

So yeah. Now that we're getting max I think he's at least in "plans" for production between now and the anniversary.
