They're from a kinda "generic TF" toy line from the 80's call Alpha-Bots. I remember getting the D from Revco as a kid... it took me forever to figure out what they were called so I could hunt them down.

If you're referring to the Tyco Transformers Train set, it's HO. My next door neighbor used to have one, and when I got some random HO stuff, I used some of his set to get mine running. It's not everyday you see an Autobot switch engine lashed up to an Illinois Central Gulf diesel.
(I wonder if anyone repainted their N5c Caboose/jet fighter in Pennsylvania or Conrail colors to make a real robot in disguise!?)

I really REALLY wish someone would make a D-62 steam engine in O scale... so I can add model shuttle engines to the back of the cab and paint it a magnificent shade of Decepticon Purple!
