Per ordered G2 from BBTS 'cause I thought it was cool but didn't think much more about it after that. I had no plans on the retail versions at all. Well, it came in last week and this thing is awesome. Now I cannot wait to get the retail ones as well.

Onslaught looks really cool in that shot. I think he's becoming my favorite of the solo figures.
Just can't wait for Amazon to ship my pre-order from mid July...:banghead:

Did anyone else who bought the g2 exclusive hesitate to disassemble him in fear breaking the connector ports??

Finally got all five of these guys the other day. (Thank you, ToysRUs.com!)

I really love these guys, escpecially the Scramble-city aspect. I also love how the weapons have a number of ways to connect- probably the closets thing us North American fans are gonna get to Arms Microns. :lol

So, exaclty how do you get Blastoffs arm mode to do that? I've tried a number of ways, but I always find his hips to be too wide to connect his legs together.

My G2 Dudicus is probably down at the post office right now. I'll be picking him up on Tuesday and then he'll go under the tree to opened on Christmas Day. It'll be 1994 all over again :lol

EDIT: I'm also so happy that Dudicus caught on as his name.

I've had the SDCC version for a while, but haven't opened it. I hopped on HTS when there was a 20% coupon and free shipping. It was like getting 1 figure for free ($65 with tax for the whole set shipped). He holds together surprisingly well. I'm happy with it. I may sell my SDCC version though.

Anyone know how to get Blastoff to look like the cover of the SDCC box? Where the thrusters become a blaster. Seen at the link below:

Try taking off his shoulders and tabbing them into his legs backwards

Yeah, you have to unsnap the thrusts from the ball joint.

Does it look as good as the game videos in person?

Probably not. I haven't tried it on my G2, mostly because I don't want to risk screwing up any of the ball joints. Pictures that I've seen looked ok, though. Not as good as the game, but that can be expected since it wasn't really designed to do that.

Need a 3rd party giant blaster for the karate chop hand to hold. I don't like the combined gun

Yeah, I like having Blastoff's guns attached to Vortex's swords, which I plug into each arm. I attach Swindle and Brawl's guns together into a shotgun style weapon for Blastoff's arm mode to hold.

Here is my patented "I don't care if the back of the figure is a mess" arm transformation. Real non curling elbows. Good proportions.

The general idea is to fold the unneeded legs onto Brute's back and eat up Blastoff's extra length by keeping his connector joint straight and then bending his body down in a Z shape.
