thanks guys! mistransformation though courtesy of Amuro MKII. loved his bruticus guide he put together awhile ago and I knew I was gonna be using that when I finally got my g2 in.

think I'm gonna panel line him though. there's so much detail in the mold that goes to waste because there's nothing accenting it. think a little more detail will really make him pop.

 

I added a little more purple camo to each member to make them more G2ish and really Pop in any mode (pics once i have a working camera)

 

Anyone figure how to make blastoff clip together?

What do you mean clip together?

 

There are tabs on the shoulder struts that clip into pegs on the body. It's in the instructions under the 'changing to robot' section.

I just got the Dudeicus today and I've been trying to figure this out too. The pictures looks like his legs/hand are bent up and together, but on mine the hips are too far apart to allow them to actually stay together as you guys are showing.

 

It's hard to see in this picture but the only thing holding my blastoff together is the fist tab. My friend got the g2 and his fist tabs wouldn't hold with the mistransformed arm mode so I used a clear rubber band on his to keep the fist tabbed! You can't even see the rubberband with the white is blends really well

Something people may not realize about Blast Off's legs. The upper thigh is not symmetrical. If you are having difficulty getting the fist to close, rotate the upper thigh 180.

 

What u mean

 

The little triangular part that is the upper thigh is what I'm referring to. One side is solid and the other is hollow. If I try to combine the legs into an arm with one side facing outward, it doesn't work very well. If I rotate it around so the other side is facing out, then it works. I don't remember which side is which right now though.
