EDIT: For the record, I have nothing against Bakushan, and I actually see what he was getting at in that other thread, but I just cannot deny that Fosterlager's reply was perfection.

    Done.

    :)

I recently made the trip to my Brother in Law's House to take a look at these. I will say UP FRONT... I am sorry that he would not allow me to pull out the nice stuff (wrapped in news paper in the photos). I was only allowed to take pictures of the contents from the top of the boxes... without touching them.

After seeing them more in person, of course I am specifically interested in what I DIDNT see.... the stuff hidden in the depths of the boxes I had seen on the previous occasion. None the less, these pictures prove my story was not false, I am not a troll, and the OP was in fact a true story.

    Thanks.

how do you know there are transformers if he wouldn't let you go through the boxes. Not doubting you, but from what you showed the value of that stuff is pretty low (new SW movies, random McFarlane, a few simpsons). From what you showed I doubt it would even bring in a grand.

    Thats quite a splendid haul.

Without actual photos of G1s I'll have to assume some embellishment by the OP (hey its the interwebz, everybodys guilty to some degree right?) but most of that is what? Post 1997/98 when Episode 1 came out?

Still I amazed the BIL can't contact this guy after 15 years, what about Facebook? Any relatives? Common friends?

The best thing to do as a friend is to do nothing until he contacts his friend about this.

The fairest thing to do as an impartial is to deduct the value of owed storage from the haul.

The Space nazi way would be to confiscate the lot, 15 years is a long time bro.

For the record I am also a Space Nazi. Beware my flying saucer attack.

Where's the TFs? Otherwise what's the point of showing Star Wars and Simpsons toys in a TF toys forum?

Relatively new stuff, I am doubting the so called G1 find. Maybe some be a beastwars mixed in, but without pics, I doubt this also. This is a BS thread it seems.

They actually made 4. They were all kinds of kick ass. If you played Q2 then u know the 'tank, he was a baddass figure.

That said....I'm not seeing anything that sticks out as OMG.....that is so awesome! I see a lot of stuff that site at a flea market table for years...except the quake figs...those sell.

For the OP, I am citing you with an internet violation for not showing any G1 or TF related pics. You could have got by with showing a single 1984-85 carded gijoe or minibot, but since you have failed to deliver the good, this internet citation will cost you 2 moc quake figures.

Now take your punishment and mail those to me.

so no TFs just a bunch of stuff most folks don't really want.

Alot of this stuff I've seen sitting on shelves for yeeeeeeeeeeeeears at my local toy store called: Toy Anxiety (it hasn't moved then, it's not moving now). A lot of this stuff I also see in a store here called Bookmans here in Phoenix AZ all being sold for super low prices. (stuff just isn't moving)

As far as the Quake stuff goes. those might sell. But i never hear anybody talking about them and there's a huge market of collectors here where I live.

The rest though you won't get too much for I'm betting. I sold many of those exact figures that i got for free from my local comicbook shop owner to sell at me leisure. I sold them all to Bookmans and they gave me about 40.00 for the entire lot and I had just as much as seen in those photos.

Depends on what's on the bottom of the boxes and tubs though.

I hope you plan on posting more photos. I'm curious to see what else is there. most all that stuff came out in the 90's and early 2000's back when the market for action figures was doing pretty bad.

Pretty sure those star wars figs from the 90s aren't worth much. Probably lose money tring to sell mose of those on ebay.

I think the most interesting part of the story is that the boxes haven't been opened since 1998 yet they are filled with toys that came out after 1998. That's some serious time travel magic mahammajamma right there.

I'm pretty sure that he was referring to the figures from 1998 not the boxes or tubs themselves.

What i'd really like to know is: Where is the supposed toys that was described on the first post?

Edit: whoops had to back and reread lol

    Ya don't say? 1998? interesting.

Because I'm not seeing any of it thus far. and let's face it, everything seen so far is all stuff from the time period I stated. :lol

So here's to hoping it's all the crap wrapped in newspaper.
