Rough summer. Depression has made me lose all will/motivation/desire for a lot of things. Trivial things such as taking pics just seem even more trivial than normal. Plus I really LOVE the current poses my figures are in! Haven't reposed them for a few months...but don't you worry, I'm sure my creative juices will flow soon!

That sucks man, I do get it though, my past couple of years have been a little dark on the whole as well. Hope things turn around soon for you.

 

Sometimes the trivial things can help you focus away from the rough stuff. As a creative, I have to create. Creating is good. Plus, if you have pics of your current poses you can always match if you change them and don't like them.

 

Wow. That was a easy and quick setup but your picture comes out amazing. Man. It's really not about the equipment but the man behind it.

Damn, man. Hate to hear, man. I've battled depression since I was a kid. I know that numb feeling well. That haze that clouds your brain. The thing that's always worked for me is when I'm able to find the energy and motivation to make a life change, change of scenery, change of careers, something to get me out of my head and get excited about, get me out of the rut.

 

My full MP collection. All Hasbro at the moment, and will probably keep it that way for the time being (though BB and UM may cause me to break that). I absolutely love all of them. From 0 to 5 in 6 months, it's certainly an expensive hobby, but I keep turning to them every other weekend or so for transformation and pics. I've decided that Rodimus is the most fun to transform back and forth (mine is surprisingly stable), but Soundwave (with his gimmicks and cassettes) overall is best of the lot. Looking forward to the Firebolt vs Frenzy/Rumble battles to come.

 

Thanks guys.   Things are finally starting to look up a bit. With the new semester starting up, I have the opportunity to fix some of my mistakes and make better grades. Hopefully I'll be able to find friends who understand the concept of loyalty. That was one of my issues this summer...I had a "friend" who was about as traitorous as Starscream. Ironically, I'm pretty sure Starscream was one of his fave characters...

On another note, I'm kinda glad the new MP figures don't have any sort of electronics. Usually anything with an LED seems to get possessed in my room. The Piraka from Bionicle, with their light-up eyes? Saw those eyes light up on their own a few times back when they were in here. Toa Inika? Their swords lit up some, but not as often. My T-600 bobblehead? Biggest offender. Damn thing's eyes lit up on its own 7 TIMES IN A ROW on Wednesday! So yeah, the lack of electronics in Masterpiece figures doesn't really bother me.  

 

Soundwave: "Good, Megatron needs that as soon as possible."
