Do you think MP 36 gets reissued again? Im looking for one and ebay is full of KOs

 

Nice! Looks like a labor of love. Now you need to do a stop motion of this so we can see all of them transforming at the same time.  

 

Almost done with the carving part of my updated desert diorama. Made not so short work but still faster than using a carving knife out of the foam using hotwire foam cutting tools.




I'll put the cave here, mainly because I accidently carved out too much and all of the sudden, I can make it work.


The single lane mountain road will need a little patching to smooth it out some.


The backdrop will be a mix of canyon wall and blue sky.

Oh I CANNOT WAIT for this!! The desert setting is so iconic to S1/2 and was always such a memorable juxtaposition against the high-tech mecha characters for me!!

That looks awesome dude! You could use some sculpt a mold to hide some of the seams in the sheets, but a good dark/medium/light dry brush will really make those wire marks pop! That rally looks like wind-eroded rock! Did you DIY the hot wore tool, or buy one?

That’s what I’m trying to go for. The S1/S2-like desert backgrounds. I wanted to do the Cape Carlson base but I don’t have that much room in my condo.

I’m going to use Dap’s Patch n’ Paint to fill in all of the holes and smooth out the road. Those lines are 13 foam boards glued together. Once I patch up the obvious holes, I’ll decide if I want to keep some of those lines.

Does anybody know if these t-shirts are legit or not? After doing some research, it looks like the tags do have the “Authentic Transformers” and Hasbro logos on them, but the Mandarin writing and “Blackarachnia” instead of Blackwidow (when that’s what even Hasbro put on her case packs) is throwing me off... like, were these brand team shirts Hasbro wore at events or something? Medium is the only size offered for any of them, which I think is odd... and if it’s a Chinese medium, that’s pretty small since their clothes usually run a size smaller.

My MP 27 and 30 came in but having an Ironhide transformation issue. Where would I go to ask advice since 27's thread is closed?

 

What part of the transformation are you having a problem with?

 

This part will not flip into place. It easily worked on Ratchet but it's a no go for Ironhide.

Well either way, sending it back. Got 2 scratched areas in different places from out of the box, one area being major. Was just familiarizing myself with the transformation.

 

Wasn't the MP-44 one the free shirt they gave with the pre-orders of MP-44?

 

Guess that solves that problem.

First coat applied. I'll work on painting the desert floor and background this weekend before applying more magnets and dry brushing.

Didn’t realize this picture wasn’t focused. I’ll take a better one when the sun is up.

 

That part can be really tough to get at first. Sometimes not, like with Ratchet, but sometimes it feels almost like it's glued in place... My Ironhide was similar. I eventually got it though, so if your replacement has the same issue, just work with it before tabbing the chest in.
