Just got mine from BBTS (I had it pre-ordered since May and it shipped last Thursday - six days ago) and I haven't noticed any glaring issues. Thank goodness.

This guy is seriously amazing! The last new-mould MP I got was Rodimus a couple years ago and that seriously turned me off of the MP line and made me seriously consider getting new ones (I think I got myself MP-6 and 7 sometime after Rodimus, but I already knew I liked the mould so those don't count, and I had no interest in MP-10 and 11 because I had and was fine with their original versions). Rodimus is floppy, confusing, non-functional in a lot of ways (even simple things like holding his weapons )...

But Soundwave is the opposite of that. He's sturdy, has a simple yet involved "not-too-easy" transformation, comes with great accessories, fully functional. My faith in the MP line has been restored! I think I'll go order myself Sideswipe and Red Alert now...

 

Whelp... I need to append this now. =( I was really hoping TT would make a mini Megatron that doesn't break at the hilt. Apparently, I was wrong. When I tried to flip it down, as in the instructions, it must have been fused/stuck around the pin and broke. I'm checking with BBTS on it, to see what my options are aside from adding it to my collection of broken Megs from Hasbro MP01 original & reissue.

 

In fairness, being able to hold weapons is the exception, rather than the rule when it comes to Alternators and MPs. Most Alternators, MP-01, MP-03 (when it comes to both MP-01's Megatron, and even RtS Megatron) and Rodimus have serious problems. I don't have MP-05 so I can't speak to that.

 

True, I know with Optimus and Starscream they don't really hold it very well, but at least their hands close around it so it stays there. With Rodimus you can't even do that v__v

And MP-05 has the "peg and hole" way of holding weapons and works pretty well  

 

Just tracking my RK shipment of my MPs and all I can say is WOW.

The package left Hong Kong on the 29 and is already in Mississauga (my hub in Canada) at customs. That was right quick, wow! I may have these guys by Friday.  

 

Mine is already in customs too, New York though. Shipped on the 29th. Hoping to have it in hand tomorrow or Friday! Wooo!!!

 

RK shipped my soundwave very quickly and has been in customs since Monday. I really hope customs doesn't hold him for two weeks like my previous international package. I want my Soundwave now!!!!

Send it back. At that price point, why deal with that many issues.

 

Cool, good to know. MP-10 Prime can hold his gun pretty well, his works like MP Rodimus' is supposed to work, but... you know... functional.

 

Hope you have better luck than me. Mine got to the states on the 25th and has been sitting in LA customs since. This is the first time I've had a package held up, so I'm getting antsy.

Well mine shipped from BBTS gonna have it on Monday. Unfortunately it'll probably be delivered while I'm in class :/ and the same with my MP-11 from RK. it's a race to see who will get here first

 

By this time tomorrow, the long wait will finally be over an I will be in a state of pure excitement .

I just got a call from the store, My Soundwave has arrived!!! 

I'm going to pick it up tomorrow, but I'm a little concerned that it will have a flaw.

 

Just got mine and boy is it pretty. Hold on you guys! If anything is worth waiting for its this!

Disappointed in the paint application, and for 200 they could have done a better job on the finger articulation.. Or at least put MP11 hands on him... Owell at least it's soundwave!
