i think its the luck of the draw who you get a reply from with rk as i had to return a figure over a year ago and they reimbursed the return shipping once they had received the figure

Well it sucks that you haven't received him yet. But the email specifically says return at my cost and have item cost refunded. Just going to take the 5% refund. Missing a finger doesn't hinder anything. Plus if I returned him I paid 159 and he's now 199. It's not like they'll just sell it to me at original price

 

tamiya mica silver... no 76... pop the faceplate out before spraying... its a 100% colour match... you can use this colour to touch up the legs as well... its the same colour... but wait overnight before poping faceplate in... you dun want your prints on his face...

 

Anyone have a color match for the gold? I have a scratch on the gold rim around the window. Someone suggested mixing colors, but I don't feel comfortable doing that. Is there even a single color that matches?

 

parcel force are really taking the mickey out of me now!!!! waited in all day again and still nothing!!     just phoned them and it had not even been put on the trolly to be put on the van   , had a really nice lady on the phone who went and got it herself and put it on the trolly whilst i was on the phone ..but that's going to be 22 days this has taken to get to me   i would of been quicker traveling to japan/china to get this myself...but still cost me less than buying all 3 mps from kapow toys or any other uk retailer even with the £18 charge

 

I just got an email from Andy at betatoys. He said they just got them in today. So they should be shipping this week. And I just got mine from edbomber toys and its real bad ass. No dot on the head but he came perfect with no scratches and stuff. Still has the face scar though...

 

Just recieved my Soundwave and Laserbeak. Haven't even opened it but as of now I couldn't be more happier.  

 

Finally opened mine last night.
1) Laserbeak's joints were so tight I thought I was going to break it. Especially where the doublejoints are for the lasers. After I transformed him back there were silver flakes on my desk. Couldn't find where they flaked off though.
2) SW's face is fine, also has the triangle painted in
3) The buttons already seem to have micro chips along the tops even though brand new. But you really have to look close to see them.
4) I find that to eject the tape properly you have to tilt it forward a little with help from gravity or else it stays in his chest
5) I broke off both fingertips easily. But luckily they snap right back on. I'm ok with that.
6) Megatron fits in Hot Rod's hand, barely. Nice.
7) My pink cassette case is slightly warped along the lower edge, doesn't want to open smoothly.

 

I am finally getting my Soundwave shipped to me this week, estimated by Thursday!!

If you don't count The 20th Annaversary DVD Masterpiece Optimus and Fans Toys Quakewave.

This will be my first official Masterpiece Transformer.

So friggen excited, and so is Shockwave!

I've read a lot of complaints that the cassettes don't eject when the door opens. This has probably been pointed out further back in the thread already, but I think this is just part of the design...

Here is what works on mine:

1.) Press the eject button to open the door.

2.) Tap the front of the door with your finger, pushing it back in to the chest just partially. It will grab the closest cassette and then pop back out.

3.) The cassette will be sitting there right where it should be in the door. Pull it out with your fingers.

 

I honestly think they should have included a mini SW for display purposes cause his alt mode size looks ******ed with the other Cons.

 

So tired of people using the word ******ed.

Anyway, how did you remove Soundwaves faceplate?

It looks like it might be difficult to remove.

 

How so? Just the other day I saw an 80's micro cassette recorder bigger than a decommissioned F-15 jet sitting next to a building sized WWII Walther P-38 while driving home. Looked perfectly normal to me.

 

Get the WST version SW? I guess it scales.

 

finally got mine today and got no problems with the paint on this or mp12 and mp14 all perfect apart from soundwave has a tiny dent on the seam of the faceplate that you would not notice unless you looked really close
