I am curious, other than the sheer girth of the tail, why do people not seem to like the FoC Grimlock mold? It's not the most amazing figure, I'll grant you, but there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it, from what I've seen of reviews and such. I don't own one (and am fervently looking for one), so yeah.

 

The corners cut (chopped off more like it) to save costs to make the fig is beyond obvious. As much as I like the figure, he pales in comparison to the game version (to which many hold a strong standard toward). To many, the empty chest was a last straw that broke their back. I happen to have the Takara version and though the shiny (me rikey da shiney  ) make'im look good .... G U U D!, I would sell/trade him in a heartbeat if certain 3rd party companies make one game accurate (Planet X: HINT-FRIGGIN-HINT!!!!!  )

 

The Wreckers just arrived...holy shit, they're amazing. For some reason they all look even cooler in real life than in photos. Now I feel bad that I have to pack them up again and can only open them in a month  

The 'weak' link for me is now Topspin. The mold is great, but his deco is just so bland compared to the others. Not complaining though, he's still decent.

And oh, the new weapons are pretty huge! Bigger than I expected, actually!

I need to take a pic of my FoC customs thus far, all in various states of completion, but I should take a group photo just for shits and giggles.

 

I need to do that too. Right now I have a custom Hound (made from a DOTM Sandstorm... just need to find a good little head for him), I am working on a custom Warpath (from his Generations figure), I am trying to figure out how to do a custom Ironhide using the prime figure) and an Arcee from the First Edition Prime Mold.

Ok, I know this video promoting the game (and Everlove's song) is old. But I still get goose bumps when seeing (and hearing) it. It has way too many kick ass clips from the game showing many of the characters/figure we love from the FoC line.

Yeah I feel that way too. All the wfc/foc cg trailers and the halo 3 announce trailer still give me goosebumps. Halo's mostly because of the music, but the wfc/foc trailers are all just epic.

I finally found the FOC voyager Soundwave...it's glorious. The disk eject feature is a little annoying and glitchy, but I love him anyways.

 

I really like Kickback. (especially after following Matt Booker's guide to improving the grasshopper back legs) Pity there's no Sharpshot and Hardshell to go with him... Well technically there are toys with those names either out or coming soon, but they don't fit in together. Maybe Project X will provide?

 

High hopes that Planet X will kick in where Hasbro/Takara left out.

Don't be surprised if there is a kit, or someone does a custom, for Metroplex in the near future.
