Voyager Grimlock?

 

No, I've already got that preordered. I guess it was the combination of someone saying they wanted the new 2013 toys followed by some saying they wanted Ratchet but not A Ratchet made it sound like it had been announced.

Put down a pre-order for a case of 8 deluxes (Kickback, sideswipe x2, starscream x2, ultra magnus x2, fireflight) and a case of 4 voyagers (grim x3 swave x1) and the 2 packs of 'cassettes' (Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, Ratbat)

Guessing I should be able to find someone who wants the dupes and doesn't wanna buy from abroad. Might even keep fireflight once he's in my hands.

 

what 2 packs of cassettes are your referring too? What did i miss? i don't collect Prime & I wasn't aware of an MP Ratbat, so what's going on?

Not a bad Toyline, better then the Prime wave in my eyes.

 

I still cant figure out how it is that this awesome FoC Soundwave is supposed to be the same character as the crappy Prime Soundwave.

 

As far as I'm concerned WfC/FoC is G1 and completely unrelated to Prime beyond having essentially the same backstory.

 

IT'S NOT. Just a namesake like all the rest. War/Fall of Cybertron may share some 'origin' events as the Prime series, but does not necessarily tie in together as one continuity. Didn't Hasbro clarify it all as a 'shared alignment' or something?


But all that is a discussion for another thread. So sorry...

Let's get back on track.
The real question is why would that release the repaint in the same wave? Grimlock should have been in that case. And Blaster & Soundblaster should have been in the next wave.

On another note, i love that Hasbro is using Japanese characters. Wishing for a decent Dai Atlas or Star Saber one day.

 

Agreed. War/Fall of Cybertron is just another version of G1.
One of the best G1 experiences lately aside from some of the recent IDW Storylines. Too bad it came around the time when Hasbro started shrinking the toys & raising the prices.

A Soundwave/Grimlock wave followed by a Blaster/Soundblaster wave would be great, though I get the feeling Hasbro/retailers are trying to pad these guys out for as long as they can. Keep people interested for 3 waves as opposed to 2.

 

I own optimus, shockwave, the G2 bruticus set, and have starscream on my want list. I love em all  

I was talking with fellow member maxlovesamber about FOC and i agree with what he said:

"fall of cybertron has such great and unique character designs" i'd like to add they carry the point of what character they are with a wicked twist of coolness and nitty-gritty-get-your-hands-dirty-from-war style, cause c'mon, the war for cybertron should show the hardships and have bots with scuffs n scars to prove it

people with FOC Starscream need to post more pics of him! There's some from the review thread but none without his imo stupid weapon. I should have mine Sunday to mess with before i send it off to be customized
