I'm definitely looking forward to getting several of the Combaticons sets (G2, Retail, Wreckers) seeing as they look like very fun figures, plus the combiner mode can really shine once you fiddle around with it. Out of what's been released in Wave 1, so far only Shockwave appealed to me. Not entirely sure if I'll grab Jazz or Optimus, the price point I'm still getting used to and the distribution is saddening to say the least. However Shockwave needed to be painted up as the stock purple he came with looked inaccurate to the game model so I've taken the liberty of painting mine up and he looks so much better.

I paid 90 bucks for Scouting Force X and I have no regrets, and if I figure I'm willing to put that much money down on toys I like, then getting FoC stuff is a cinch. Anyways, I've got Jazz, Optimus, Shockwave, and an SDCC Bruticus. I intend to get every Bruticus deco that's gonna come out.
XBL: Planck Epoch![]() Optimus is the only one that's disappointed me so far. It's hard to look at him without thinking how much better WfC Optimus is. Watch my reviews here! http://www.youtube.com/user/Halcyon554 My Trade/Sale Feedback |

The moment I got him, I decided NOT to follow hasbro's suggested transformation so I tried different configurations... Version 1 ![]() First Try and I already see him as looking much better than Hasbro's baboon version however blast off and vortex had such limited posability in this version that I had to research and fiddle with fruiticus some more... So finally I came up with Version 2 ![]() This version is much more improved and much more proportionate and stable, so stable that he can do this... ![]() ![]() Standing on one foot was no problem, now I tried the crouching position... ![]() and he ddidn't even break a sweat! More pics.... ![]() ![]() and a comparison with FP Bruticus... ![]() Suddenly I feel like he's not so bad anymore, though colors and plastic quality could've been better... |
