I'm sorry, I can't hear you over Retailicus.  . Pft, my Giant doesn't need kneecaps that only get in the way. Seriously I find those kneecaps to negatively impact poseability.

 

Anyhoo.

Just got my Ravage and Rumble 2-pack. They're... tough to judge.

In all honesty, they're both worse than their G1 versions. Ravage also has the (KO, in my case) DL versions to compete against. It's better than the Universe version, though.

They suffer terribly from the spring-loaded transformations. They have all these joints, but almost all of them have springs and are thus worthless for posing. Rumble only has arm articulation.

That said... I like them more than I feel like I honestly should. Ravage is... okay. I love me some Ravage in general, and it reminds me of Alternators Jaguar Ravage, which is never a bad thing.

Rumble... is objectively not good. But for some reason I actually like it a lot. Just has a lot of charm. And can hold 3mm weapons, which is nice.

They're both objectively bad for Legions. But I enjoy them more than I feel like I should. Can't wait for Soundblaster to arrive.

 

I've been all over the data disks since I got sw/sb and the 2 packs. They are just fun little gimmicky figures that I find myself constantly flipping between modes. I guess they're not the most articulated things, lol. But I didn't expect them to be, nor do I really care. The fun of them is all in the gimmick, for me.

If you aren't a fan, I'm sure the MP tapes will more then satisfy your hunger for those. But you are also gonna pay. Both sw/sb and the tape packs cost me about what one of those MP tape packs shipped would, so I'm completely fine with them all.

 

It would have been cool if the robot modes for the data discs look liked the box art. Come on third party jump on that.

Don't worry, Grimlock is displayed on the shelf currently sporting Vortex's severed arm in his mouth. That fight only went one way.  

Only ever in the trailer, but it would've been a hella fight if it had happened in-game.

 

Crown fits quite well, but wish he had post holes in his bicep area for the null rays. Starscream is good stuff!

Thanks! This whole wave is pretty nice, I'd have to say it's the best wave of FoC deluxes so far, with the one I like the least being Sideswipe. Starscream and Kickback are great, and for being slight retools/recolors Magnus and Air Raid are awesome! I think Jazz was a more successful use of the mold than Sideswipe was. That said, some pics.

 

I said I was not buying any of this line but came across all 5 Combaticons today and grabbed them. Hey its Bruticus had to get a Foc Prime for him to stomp too.

See Fireflight and Kickback do nothing for me. I wouldn't have bought them individually. And I really like Sideswipe. Yeah he's not perfect but he's not bad. I LOVE Magnus especially with the hammer I gave him.

Mine also shipped out the 14th but the tracking information is now useless since it's left Hong Kong. I'm hoping it is eminent.

 

I'm another Sideswipe fan. He's not particularly game-accurate, but the design works, and the amount of retooling done on the mold is really impressive.

I'ma have to wait 'til the 25th to get my mits on Kickback. He did look the biz in the bubble before getting whisked away to the prezzie-bunker though.

Actually, I prefer Fruiticus. I like the bright colors. G1 would have been my preferred colors, but since that isn't an option, I like these.

As for the kneecaps hurting posability? How? In my pic, the legs are perfectly straight and the knees aren't in the way at all. Since he's not a bayformer, his knees don't need to bend the other way. The reason I like them down like that is because the knees are too hollow in any pose other than straight up and down. The kneecaps fill them out nicely.
