Takara Henkei Ultra Magnus exists!

Takara Henkei Ultra Magnus exists. I have one en route and will be sharing detailed pictures with comparisons to Classics Ultra Magnus when he arrives.

He features a entirely different paint scheme / apps and has the same chroming applications as Optimus Prime / Convoy.

I look forward to sharing this treasure with the community shortly.

This marks my 3rd unreleased / Prototype figure I have acquired (Leadfoot , Nemesis Prime).

That's good to know. The pic that's shown, is that Henkei UMagnus or still enroute?

On other hands, I got excited from the title thread thinking it was TTomy mass release, agrrrr. I was thinking to acquire another one until I saw the price on Ebay which is kind out of my reach for the moment. My current one is display as City Commander and now I want another one as his normal classic self.

Neat catch! His color scheme looks more convincing as Magnus than the Classucs version. Two questions:
1) How much did it cost?
2) Do you have City Commander, and if so, do you plan on displaying him in it?

Ah, so it's an unreleased prototype from the Henkei Henkei! line? Odd that it never saw a release; it would have driven down the price of Classics UM by quite a bit, I'd imagine. XD As far as City Commander goes, would be a shame to cover up Henkei UM almost entirely with add-on armor.

2. I own City Commander and the Classics Ultra Magnus already. I happened upon this figure by accident.

Is it a KO? just curious, not challenging or calling you out, but it was never mentioned, as far as we all know about the existence of a Henkei UM release... regardless, that looks nice! It could be just like the unreleased prototype 'Wonderfest Nucleon Quest' Black Convoy...

I have never seen a KO in this deco or with Chroming like all of the other Henkei Figures.

Would be one hell of a KO if it was.

Well, the KO CHMS Seekers retain the chrome of their Henkei counterparts, at least and I'm thinking the KO KOLD Convoy does too, so KOs retaining Henkei chrome is hardly uncommon (hell, two of the Seeker KOs were entirely chrome, if I remember correctly).

Did the canceled Wonderfest Black Convoy include chrome? I don't recall it doing so.

Anyways, I'm very curious to see pics of this thing too. Since no one's ever heard or seen this before, I'm thinking it's possible its a very well-done custom or a KO of some sort (no offense), but hey if it's legit, that's cool and I'd be more interested to know why Takara never followed through.

Was there any further light shed on that blue Henkei Bumblebee that randomly showed up and no one knew where the hell that came from? This Magnus, if legit, could end up along those lines.

Never saw a KO with white legs. They are not painted they are formed White plastic. The Copyright is on the legs.
