They aren't any smaller than the Prime figures.

Then the question is why the Prime figures are smaller...

They're not. You've just gotten larger, so they look smaller. Or something.

This. Also, manufacturing plastic is really expensive.

Because the Economy sucks. Next thing you know the Deluxe Classes are going to be the size they use to be back in the 80's.

Ah yes, I remember the Cybertron days when you could get a big deluxe for $10 and they had new things on the shelves every few weeks.

Glad to be of some assistance. But I should probably point out that isn't my pic. I got it from /toy/. Some anon posted the picture because people were ranting about how the toys are shrinking and smaller than ever.

I also noticed you get less Gas for 99 cents then you did in the early 90s. Odd that.

Yea, I was messing around with some of my older figures and even the RID Car Brothers are fairly small. Armada also has a few small "Deluxe" size figures as well. It seems to me that figures actually started to get bigger and blockier in Armada/Energon because of their simplistic designs and Hasbro just kept the size the same despite moving towards more complex designs. I think we all just got spoiled by how big the A/E/C, CHUG, and RoTF figures were.

yeah, some people forget that the size of the Unicron Trilogy figures was because of the gimmicks. Also. as stated they were simpler in design.

Everytime one of these threads are made, the upcoming toys will decrease in size.
Seriously though, it's because of all the reasons stated before me
