Earlier God Ginrai Prototype

Just bumped across this.

Much as I love how God Ginrai/Powermaster Prime turned out, I think this one is immensely better. This version should have advanced enough to be featured on Black Zarak's toy flyer.

(from a different forum, not sure if it's okay to post it here)

Does anyone know how we ended up with what we have now, instead of this earlier version? I envy the lucky bastards who actually have the prototypes...

Much better, like the first prototype of VictoryLeo with tilting cannons and the large gun was foldable. Prototypes that were better than the actual figures
There was also an 'oldschool' 3rd party kit to upgrade the existing God Ginrai, larger wings etc.. I wonder why no 3rd party company gave it another try.

Don't see much difference in that Victory Leo, but this on the other hand is obviously different.

So apparently I'm not knowledgeable enough to know the difference between the prototype and the actual toy.

All three cannons are different molds, have 'articulation'.

I knew about the proto God Bomber and much more awesome combination for God Ginrai. Just imagine if Takaratomy were to release this original version, Id absolutely go berserk and buy several!

I really like the wings on the chest in combined form (tho I imagine it would restrict arm movement, most likely the reason it was removed), it makes him look more superheroic.
