Jazz is not only small, but looks like a shitty knockoff too. Thank god for Masterpiece.

I know for many the price increase wouldn't be so bad if the figures size didn't shrink a bit, or figures shrink a little with the price staying the same. With both hitting it's like a double punch in the gut for some people.
Honestly, it really is. I love the WFC/FOC, Prime, & Classics aesthetic, so I'm going to buy any and all of these up as fast as possible... But it's starting to get to the point of is it really worth it? I bought a Classics Prime recently (first time I've owned the mold) and it feels SO solid compared to a voyager of today's standard. If the price increase went hand in hand with keeping the same standard of figure we should still be getting, I wouldn't be so bothered. But higher price + Toy shrinking + hollowing + cheaper plastic does not add up. And Hasbro wonders why 3rd Party companies are all the talk..

I remember at Botcon this year, seeing a younger child (which is basically Hasbro's supposed target audience) asking where all the 3rd party stuff is, and where could she and her dad (which if I'm not mistaken is Daddytron? On the boards) could go buy the good stuff. I found that quite amusing.

The figures are definately lighter. I just picked up Specops Jazz recently and he felt like a brick compared to what tehre is now. But when it comes to third party, it's way too expensive imo. I don't have the cash to spend on these figures. I would LOVE to have Green Giant or Hercules, both are bad ass, I'd have a tough time deciding which to get. But neither is really an option. Hell, when MP-10 was on sale for 200 at newegg I still couldn't scrounge the money together to cover it at the time.

I really wish I could have but I didn't. I think third party has some awesome, beautiful stuff it's price is just to far out there for me to justify. Here's to hoping the upcoming lottery jackpot goes in my pocket, then I'll grab all these figures up in a heart beat. If I do get that much money, I'll just invest in Hasbro and you guys can pay for my figures

Lol, I used to be the same way. "$100 for a voyager? Piss on that" but I'm now a proud owner of Warbot Defender, Hercules & Hegemon... And when Super-Ion comes out I'll have him, and when Toyworld's IDW Optimus comes out I'll have him too! The only line that seems to be getting the right idea now days is the Masterpiece line.
