Need help indenifing a G1 Bumblebee..

I have the opportunity to purchase a G1 1985 Bumblebee that is still new sealed. I've heard a ton of stories about KO versions verus original verus. Please let me know your thoughts to the following pictures that I've provided below. If there are any helpful tips for my search to finding one, this would be great! Thank you...

The hole punch is centered, a real one has an off-centered hole punch. The bubble does not go all the way to the bottom right of the card, a real one does. The Tech Spec has the wrong color line running through it, a real one has a duller line.

Thanks man! This was really helpful. Now that I'm looking at it, it really looks like a KO. Would the off-centered punch hole always be the dead give away? If so, I will always look at that first. I was originally looking at this one below because it was AFA'ed but it has all of the Japan literature stickers on it. What's the difference from yours and this one?

First off, if the seller was trying to pass off that KO as an original, they need bitch-slapped, and if they are an ebay seller you should post their name so others won't get scammed!

The second BB you posted is a Chinese re-issue. These are technically real & licensed by Hasbro, however most collectors want the original U.S.A. versions. The re-issues have the Chinese stickers on the front & the copyright information on the back is shorter than the original copyright information. (Compare the copyright information under the Tech Spec with the KO vs. the Chinese re-issue)

I can't thank you enought for all of your help. Would you consider collecting the Chinese re-issue versus? If so, what's a good purchase price as well as resale price?

Honestly I wouldn't consider collecting the Chinese re-issues, especially if you are considering reselling it. Most high-end or AFA collectors only want the originals. This is just my opinion, as I know other collector would want the re-issues. I would keep an eye on ebay's current & completed listings to gauge prices for the re-issues. However, you will see that they do not sell for as much as the original versions.
