Human Alliance Prime

The other day,I find my Human Alliance Jazz and started playing and remembering how great he was,Then I had a good idea, bring out Human Alliance Prime figures! I can imagine some of the figures already,Jack with Arcee,Raf with Bumblebee etc. And we can even have Silas with Starscream.
Do you think this possible?

I would love a Fowler figure...

Human Alliance basics were an experiment in expanding an already somewhat beleaguered line.

Jury is out on how they did.

Those of you who wish to attempt to rationalize why HA Prime toys would make Hasbro a profit go ahead.

With a fair amount of Prime BBs on shelves, and no new toys apparently to hit shelves for a few months after DX Wv 4, i'd say Hasbro have more immediate concerns about the line.

I think the HA line is dead & buried.
The basics didn't sell that well.
The regular line is winding up at discount stores.
HA soundwave got cut outright.
Even target's exclusive leadfoot had to be clearanced.
Problem was that hasbro was tring to sell,
what was more a collectors line, to a mass market audience.
Didn't quite work out.

It's a stupid line that should never have exsisted. Without it, the real Ultra class would still be around today.

Never thought of it that way. I'd certainly have wanted some mainline ultras for large characters like Blackout/Grindor, Bonecrusher, etc. I would miss Jazz though.

As for Prime, I think HA would work well down the road. It'd be a way for Hasbro to keep the on-show characters on the shelf without having to make the Nth deluxe version of them again. If they were out right now though, I would feel that we'd were a bit overloaded with multiple versions of the same characters.

Would I like to see it? Yes.

Would it be commercially viable? Doubtful.

That's speculation.

Hasbro stated when the first movie line started that Ultra class made the difference between Leader and Voyager indistinct, and that they had no further plans for any TF line to have both.

Aside from which, Weaponizers are being sold at the Ultra Price point.

I would really welcome a HA Prime subline. Especially since humans play such a strong supportive role in the series that it basically has Human Alliance written all over it.

(There have been Prime HA topics before where more people express an interest and a summation of combinations they'd like to see.)

That's not true.

The first movie had no Human Alliance figures and no Ultra class figures. The same for Animated: no ultra's and no HA. We didn't get HA until well after the Ultra class was gone from the mainlines.

Also, HA Jazz and Barricade are without a doubt the best versions of those characters. Bumblebee the same until the release of BBBB. The others are also good representations of the movie characters with only Sideswipe as the major failure.

The basics are weaker, but I think they suffer because they tried too much: robot, vehicle (that a human can ride in) and a weapon mode. If they'd skipped the weapon mode and poured the designtime (and money) into the robot and altmode, no doubt in my mind they would rock.

I think the size and complexity worked for the Alternators/Binaltech line but didn't translate as well for movie characters.
