Actually, your list reminded me that I also dabble in the G1 Classic gold boxes (both English and Spanish).
Don't get me started on 'dabbling', the list would be a bit longer

Oh I can quite confidently say that has never been the case, neither on the TFsource blog nor TF-1. My articles have always been reliant on contributions from other collectors, necessetating constant networking and maintenance of contacts. My collection has never been smaller than it is now, in fact I am selling more toys now as a 'focused' collector than when I was giving up or not collecting!

All the best

I only want season 1 of the G1 cartoon so semi-completist?

Yeah, when it comes to Transformers I'm a show-cast completist as well. I'd like to do BW and Animated. Ditto Prime.

Right now, I'm trying for a G1 cast with Classics style figures, but that's all over the place, with various US and Japanese lines, as well as third party, so that doesn't really count...
Looking for FT Quakewave, MP Red Alert, Henkei Dinobot, Jet Vehicon General & TFP Skyquake... but can only trade ATT: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/items-...-t-thread.html

I'm completionist with US releases, minus Animorphs, Attacktix, and the Playskool Go-Bots.

Not that I've completed the US run, but that's the ultimate goal for the time being.

I "dabble" in JP/EU stuff that I think looks cool/is awesome.

Cassette-formers and "G2 Classics" are my two big ones. Also "getting one version of every on-screen movie character", if you can call that being a completist.

Oh, I'm a cast-completist too. Cyberverse really helps, especially when I want a hundred Vehicons for Bulkhead to trash and then say, "Whoo, that was intense."

I used to be an HA completist. I had 2 of each character...until they cancelled soundwave...then I sold all of the ones I had MISB

It isn't something I pursue anymore. Back when there were 17 figures released under the TM2 banner, I had them all, but since then, I've never tried. The closest I get nowadays is owning one of each MP mold or owning all of the show BW characters.
WANTED: Junker TM Tarantulas (or just his head), Henkei Bumblebee, WANTS/NEEDS

The only lines I've completed is Cybertron and Alternators. I'm only 7 Action Masters away from having a complete US G1 collection as well. I can't see myself ever being a completist for every TF line.
