I'd be shocked if this is more than $25. I can't think of any time that Hasbro has charged more than double what they'd charge at retail for a con exclusive.

the planes were going for three to four times their retail of $49.99 on ebay last year...this being a limited run for a character smoked in the first show...yeah there will be demand.

I gotta ask, because I'm a little confused:

In that display case, they had the figure, the package shaped like his head, and a box. What was the box? Was it an alternate package from the head package? Or does the head package come inside it?

 

It looks like the Head package is what Cliff's actually packed into, and that is inside the box. I could be wrong though.

 

I'm afraid that, because they still have that old stock in there, they'll underproduce the figure.

That said, it'll probably be around $30. I initially thought $20, like Prime, but this is a mold that hasn't been released in American and likely never will, and actually looks to be a pretty premium deco. It'll definitely be more than Prime.

 

As long as they are in the 20-25 dollar range, I'll be happy. I will get a FE mold for this character, and it will be in Zombie form!  

I can either have my brother pick me up some (he's going to SDCC), or torture myself with HTS and their online ordering. I was reading last years topic for people trying to get stuff and it was very depressing...since most of you were screwed out of what you wanted. One would think that sites these days would be prepared to handle a lot of customers at once when they sell limited items, but that would mean spending more money to accommodate the customer...and we know that would NEVER happen in today's greed-focused world. -_-

Ebay markup? Who knows. I'm not sure it'll be as great as some seem to think. You can't really compare the Starscream Skystrikers, as they cater to both GI Joe collectors and TF fans, plus it was G1/RAH. TF Prime is popular here, but nowhere near G1... Same with Bruticus. Plus Hasbro will probably make tons of them.

That said, I think it will be more popular than the NYC set and deluxe Prime, since there's no real reason anyone needs those in their TF Prime collections, unless they're a completist or just kind of dig them. They're not must haves, though. I'm not sure this is a must have either, but it is the FE mold and it DID appear in the show...
