Generations: All FoC, no Classics

War for Cybertron / Fall of Cybertron figures are just Cybertronian modes to me, so yeah, there are still Classics to me.

It is like saying it is just good enough. Keep saying that to yourselves. You know I am right. A proper Ultra Magnus , Arcee , Springer ETC. are owed to us considering they released every other figure in the G1 universe. I guess my 3rd party versions are just going to have to fill the gap for LIFE!

I've not been satisfied with much of the new stuff due to the downsizing and quality issues and have no plans to collect the FOC line partly because of that.....

But if they ever release the More Than Meets the Eye ongoing characters? They would be SO BOUGHT. Even being smaller and looking cheaper. I want a "Lost Light" crew display enough that I'll bite on them.

I don't hate these new figures, but I admit I'm a little disappointed by the preponderance of WFC/FOC stuff. The High Moon designs are by far my least favorite aesthetic style ever for Transformers (though the Dinobots do looks promising). But I guess they are dominating the Generations line this year. Bummer... I was hoping for at least a Trailbreaker.

It would be a little disheartening if they stopped doing classics but if I had to pick between getting G1 toys and new Fall of Cybetron toys, FOC wins by a landslide.

They quite blatantly say FOC is just to start out with, even saying IDW versions are being considered.

I really like the Fall of Cybertron look and they will go well with all the War for Cybertron stuff I already own.

But yea a part of me was really let down because I'd kind of gotten my hopes up that we'd see some cool Classics stuff now that we have a break from the movies.

I don't know it just kind of felt like teasers this time instead of a grand reveal of things that are going to part me from my money.
