Most of you replied exactly as I was expecting, which is no big shocker. I was shocked to see some of you reply back while using your brain. Nice work. Some of you though have the reading comprehension of a five year old. You need to really work on that, or just continue being a mentally challenged fool. Whatever.

As for the comment about trying to help someone out, just to see them resell the item at a higher cost...I was worried about that. Since it has happened before to someone here, I think that I will just help out my local collectors here (I know a few of them, and even found a few on this site), then I'll help people who give me an honest vibe from their comments made on the forum (hard to do online, but I'm pretty accurate...much more accurate in real life meetings though).

Overall though, I have this to end with. Toy collectors are MUCH worse than comic book fans/collectors. Once they become more popular in the public eye, then they will be ridiculed just as much (or more) than comic book nerds. I have MUCH more experience with comic book readers/collectors...and even though they have their bad moments (poor hygiene, ranting about "Who's Stronger," Virgin complex) they never seemed like the type to focus themselves on greed or appear to be too socially inept. I seriously wonder how some of you interact with the real world. o_0 I have met some really cool comic book fans who educated me about good books, or who sold me some older books at cost (or even less), or knew of someone who was looking to get rid of whatever at the time, and even they didn't go all greedy and try to make a profit. Maybe it's because comic books have moral stories to them? Or perhaps someone who buys an item to read is more intelligent than someone who buys an item to play with?

Either way, I don't care. I know that I will find the Vehicon's that I want for my collection. My highest price that I will pay will be 15 bucks (TRU prices), and once I start to find extras, then the collectors in my area will hear from me about where they are. Then, I'll focus on helping a select few members here.

Once "Prime" is done in cartoon and toy form, I will probably quickly make my leave of this hobby. Most of you should save some money and use that toward a psychologist instead of buying some "Rare" transformer. -_-

Good post. Maybe the scalpers will read it and realize they've been so very, very wrong.

Can someone tell me why it's okay to say the bolded text, but you can't call someone a n----- or a f----- or something on this board.

We're holding a discussion about toys, and you're comparing an opinion you don't like to the intellectually disabled. The word is not that far removed from its original usage, like say, "lame" is. You should think about that. And while you're busy calling out other people's intellectual abilities, you should maybe consider some periods on the end of your sentences...

This makes no sense. Why would you want to spend really high prices on something that doesn't even transform? If you're okay spending beau coup bucks on vehicons, just order a bunch of ebay.

So who plans on Hording them now?

    Who plans on selling what?

Who's spreading much unneeded piss and vinegar?

no need to show Rage over some kids toys and there's no need to Horde them for yourself either. It'll be okay.

i meant like inexpensive poseable nontransforming figures just for display since i don't usually transform every figure on my shelf anymore. if it were possible and not cost that much, then people can army build a lot of vehicons.

God these threads get better and better. Ever since the movies came out it's been like the wild west in TF toy forums. I miss the "beast machines" days of arguing. There was class back then.

Ah I'm sure he bought it and is just venting.

Everybody says they don't like e-bay but you know they do.

It's like the poeple who say they don't go to WM and support it but they do.

OP: Did you poop today? Sometimes, when I'm really mad about something, it just means that I haven't taken a dump yet. I feel muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch better afterward. You should try it. Eat a salad or something.

The word "******ed", while it has a negative connotation when referenced to a person (since we typically associate that with "insult directed to one with special needs"), does not by nature refer to persons regardless of its usage.

    ******[ed]
    verb (used with object)
    1. to make slow; delay the development or progress of (an action, process, etc.); hinder or impede.
    verb (used without object)
    2. to be delayed.

******ed | Define ******ed at Dictionary.com

Again, the normative usage is the one we most associate it with (directed towards a person), however, when referring to an idea, it doesn't necessarily carry the same connotation by its very nature (though, let's just be honest: most people are doing so).

Now, I'm not defending or refuting its usage in the above post, but I just thought I'd point that out.

If anyone finds a post they see as questionable, please use the "report bad post" ([IMG]). A Staff member will review the post and act accordingly.

I hope that helps some :)

It's extremely difficult to not care about what everyone else is doing with their time and money. I just see no point to complaining about this sort of thing. It's futile. Last year, I waited months to get an RTS Windcharger and I had to do it via trade with a board member from NZ. This was a few months before they started appearing at Five Below. I snagged what I found (not very many) and sold them at cost to help some members out. I didn't care that there were other people unloading theirs for $30+ a pop. It was none of my business. I just did my own thing and tried to help people down the line.

    Guess what?

I just paid $40 for a Vehicon off of Ebay :lol

Why? Because I really want one and didn't feel like waiting for what could be months to possibly find one on the shelf.

"Could be" will likely be never. I know it would be in my area so it's not too bad really. I figure a lot of us will have to do this in one form or another if we want one, online store or ebay. It doesn't matter what reason Hasbro gives they just keep screwing up in this line and I wouldn't be surprised one bit if it gets cancelled soon over it.
