Got the blind-packed Rampage in anticipation of the Predaking combiner. Neat little figure.

 

Just got Bruticus yesterday. My first Kreon experience. I love these little guys.

Just one question....

Anyone know the product number for the blind-bagged Blast-Off? I want to finish my Combaticon team, but don't really want to get one I don't need.

 

The normal release of the big devastator set. The toys r us version has the G2 yellow mini.

 

Finally found the Microchangers. Smack dab in the middle of the Valentine's section in the back in Target is such a weird place to put them. Of the 8 they had, only one was a double.

I got Singe, Insecticon, Blast Off, Rampage, and Bludgeon. Not super crazy about the latter two, I'll be customizing them a bit, I think.

It should be a damn CRIME that these guys chests are covered by the vests:



and just for comparision, Vortex from the combiner set next to vortex from his own set:

 

^ Yeah I never leave the vests on in robot mode. I know it keeps all the pieces together and such, but I much prefer them with their details showing.

 

It's a shame how the vest part is one of the most used pieces yet they neither design a flat-fronted one to print decals on nor make one with no front flap. It's not like they wouldn't be getting their money's worth since just about every Kreon uses them.

 

exactly. I've been meaning to order that piece from pick a brick that just has the back peg and no front, to replace the vests. I just haven't gotten around to doing it

 

Inferno has a 4 stud backpiece that leaves his front open. So they have a Kre-O piece now.

 

They actually created a new piece for the Kreons which allows them to cover the back, but not the chest. It gives a flat 4-stud square on the back, but unfortunately only a few of the Kreons actually come with it. (I know Inferno in the Series 1 blind bags comes with it, and from the pictures posted above I think Onslaught has that piece as well to attach his back cannons.)


Is anyone else annoyed by how poorly distributed the new Microchanger bags are in a box? I found a fresh case at Target on Monday, but it was missing about 5 of the figures.

 

Onslaughts back guns are actually all one molded piece. the set does come with one of the pieces your talking about, however alot of the kreons only need/use one peg on the back. or for something like the vest with the helicopter attachment on the back, the only choice is to cut the front off

 

Quick question about the "Battle for Energon" Optimus Prime:

How does he look with the trailer from the big Optimus? How's the size? In my opinion the trailer looked a little short with the cab from the first release, and maybe would look cool with the BFE Prime. Or is it too big to work (could always do some minor modding if it's slightly off/unlevel)?

 

I've got the 4 combiner sets and the Windcharger/Trailbreaker sets coming, but they've been sitting in the BBTS warehouse for 3 days now. WTF.

 

3 days huh? Try almost 3 months from TFsource, I couldn't wait that long so I snagged a set of 4 from eBay! Came within a week!!

 

JUST GOT ALL 4 COMBINERS AND THEY LOOK AMAZING!!! I'll have pics up soon with some changes I made to them and also some of my custom kre-os, I just haven't gotten around to it, ALSO I JUST WON A BID FOR THE ORANGE DEVASTATOR AND SHALL HAVE A PIC WITH ALL 3 DEVASTATORS TO SHOW U ALL!! So watch out for my posts!!

Huh? I highly doubt TFource had these in-stock for 3 months. I'm not talking about being on pre-order. These have been in-stock only recently unless you count the few eBay auctions from China. I'm talking about BBTS actually shipping my in-stock items. My order (these Kre-o sets and Fansproject Chromedome) has been sitting in the warehouse to be shipped for 3 days now. Tomorrow marks day #4. How long does it take to ship a package?

 

BBTS is really behind on their shipping at the moment. Quite a large number of massive POL are heading out and there seemed to be a shipping frenzy when MP Soundwave hit. You might not ship until day 4 or 5 unfortunately.

 

I hope they bump it up to Priority Mail like they have before.
