Yeah, the stickers are fairly poor. Most are not cut to fit the block and if they do not go on right the first time, they tear apart when trying to fix them. The second sheet is probably an accident. I have bought a lot of sets and never got extra stickers.
No a plus side though, on the new sets I picked up yesterday, the paper is different and I was able to peel off and try again.

Hey folks, anyone know if there is a limit to how many free kreons you can get if you have those coupons? I bought some off ebay and they're supposed to be in on Monday. Just wondering if I can use them all in one place or if I need to spread them out over a number of stores.

 

How do people feel about the heads on the Microchangers? It occurred to me today that BotCon Scorch is a Hound repaint, so it would have been nice to see the Hound helmet on Singe (who seems to be based on Scorch). And take the Hound helmet away from Springer and give him Inferno/Galvatron's helmet? I feel like Springer could use a better helmet. And also, make the damn Hound figure.

 

There are only so many helmet designs available for use at the moment, and it seems the Micro-Changers like to re-use helmets that sometimes don't quite suit the character.

Case in point, Slingshot AKA Quickslinger, is re-using the worst helmet piece Hasbro ever OKed at the Design level, Ratchet's helmet is so poorly designed it covers the Kreons' eyes with the v-crest meant to be a much smaller piece. However Slingshot only ever had a square-peg type head design in the animation model they are attempting to emulate because they drew him close to the original combiner toy which had square heads all around. Hound's helmet would have worked better for him too, the only helmet I don't see them re-using is Prowl's, I would have accepted that one over the piss poor Ratchet design.

I feel that they just pick a helmet at random for some of these guys, Springer should have gotten a new headgear sculpt, the same with Bludgeon. And some of the Combiners members seem to be suffering from odd helmet choices. (Though it's hard to tell from such tiny pictures on the back of the Devastator box I've got.)

They can't all be perfect, that being said, a better idea would work wonders for these guys if they are aiming at duplicating the animation models more often than not.


Now then, I've got a question. I dig that black version of Knock-Out's helmet so much I want to buy another Airachnid just to get that helmet, I was thinking I'd turn the duplicate Airachnid into a Go-Bot's Crasher using the black Vehicon/Insection/Megatron helmet... So, I guess I'd like to know, which parts out of existing Kreons would work good to emulate the character of Crasher?

She'd have to be all black wouldn't she?

Man it'd be really cool if we got the parts to make Cy-Kill and Leader-1 as Kreons too, any ideas for those ones?

 

Wouldn't a black Mirage helm be more appropriate for her?

Yes, well, I have an extra Black Meg's Helmet from the Vehicon who suffered QC issues, in other words was missing his head. So I've got an extra headless Vehicon complete with Helmet. Black Mirage Helmet's, don't have any extras of those that aren't being used.

No, although I used one of those coupons the other day on a Cliffjumper set and 3x blind bags.

Also, if anyone has a Kmart near them, check to see if the preview wave is on sale. Mine were ringing up for $2.24.

 

Magenta, if memory serves, is a color from the Red Family... Or possibly Purple, I believe it's a much darker shade if memory serves than just ordinary Red. Similar to Burgandy if I'm right.

However I don't believe any Kreons have Magenta, there's mostly black, purple, flesh tone and one of them has Mini-Figure Yellow (Lookin' at you Waspinator), but none of the more obscure color choices have been used for hands yet, as far as I know.

 

Making a Computron individual Kreon, didn't want to pant the hands since a weapon would chip it off, guess I will use some black ones.

I just got into them with the single packs wasn't sure what all was out there from the bigger boxed sets.

I didn't think anything was dirty or questionable about magenta, unless we were talking Rocky Horror.

What did the green devastator mini come in?

 

I think one of the Preview Wave figures has magenta-sorta hands. Cant remember which one.

If your referring to galvatron, the color is way off, its very light purple. Computrons hands are a deep maroon color, mix between red and purple. they're not even close
