That, too. I worded what I meant wrong. I was thinking more about the contents of the cases. It has been difficult finding cases somewhat, but then when you do there isn't even a full set in them. It has been frustrating and won't get better if they don't change that. I'd order a case online, but if I'm not guaranteed a set, why bother?

 

My first crew of custom Kreons, both inspired by previous posts in this thread:



I switched up the usual Spinster head for Brawn. I used the head from the Megatron vs Optimus set instead and I think it looks a bit better, since it's gray rather than black.

I do think Brawn still needs some sort of back piece to make him complete, though.

 

Those are awesome! Especially Hot Rod, What did you use for him?

 

Hot Rod:
Warpath- body, helmet, legs
Rampage- Orange chest piece, guns
Dirge - smaller wings
Springer - the little connector piece that goes on his chest (holds the wings for Hot Rod's back)
You also need some sort of piece to connect to the orange chest piece on the back before you put the wings on, since the helmet blocks it if you just try to connect it. I used a random circular piece that I had from my little parts bag.
I'm not sure who's head that is, again, I just grabbed it out of my parts bag.

I love the new figures that are coming out. Screw the BH line and give me more of the tiny treasures that are Kreo.

GRIMLOCK, BRAWN, BLITZWING, ASTROTRAIN, RAVAGE

TERRORICON CLIFFJUMPER

Be my guest! He uses the white piece from Sunstorm's weird gun to hold up the red missile launcher pieces. The head is an Optimus Prime helmet with the mouth piece cut off.

EDIT: Nice customs! I love the Astrotrain!

 

That's a very nice Magnus and I love the helmet. I tried to do the same thing with Slingshot's helmet (he's more GEEWUN without it) but it was a disaster.  

 

what stores are the combiners showing up in? so far i've found the new micro change blind bags is in toys r us, and i haven't seen anything kreo in target or walmart in months.

I've found them at Meijer, which I think is a midwest brand supermarket/general goods store. I haven't yet seen them anywhere else.

My local WM have gotten rid of their Kreo sections as well as the last Target I went to, TRU is the only place I have ever seen the singles, except for the preview wave back when they were first stocking Kreo.

 

It seems like Kre-o aren't around anyone retail stores anymore and only Halo, mario kart and lego city and chima exist, what happened?

 

Had to order the combiners from bbts. Anyone try making a prime smokescreen? Gonna get the blind packs off eBay no one in Salem OR has them
