Just picked up these guys at TRU they are actually still $2.99 and Wal-Mart seems to never stock them and they seem to be off the modular in my area.

My question is does everyone else's Rampage has stress marks around the wrist joints?

Or is it just where they separated it from the sprues?

Nice. I got all 4 from bbts, but gotta wait till friday to get another 4. That way I can have all 5 kreons from each pack (with their blind pack buddies) and the combiners displayed at the same time!

I'm sorry what? A single case of the Micro-Changer Kreons in the BLIND PACKS only has four in them? Dude what are you smoking, or did you mix up the little blind packaged figures with their Combiner Counterparts in the boxes... Because those I can understand would be four to a case, one each of the four combiners, but not the little blind packaged guys.

I am sorely tempted to do this as well, I'm just not sure if I want to drop that kind of dime on them, maybe if there was a sale and they were under 10$ a piece each I might go for it, but 13$ each for two sets of four... Bit pricy that.

That's what I've said above. I found a case yesterday. It was a full box. Blind-bagged. The numbers on the back were 48, 49, and 50. ALL OF THEM were one of those numbers. Airachnid, Dirge, or Hook. ALL OF THEM. THE WHOLE BOX. THREE DIFFERENT FIGURES.

Just to back this up, this has been my experience as well. In the other thread someone mentioned the assortment is based on a case having every figure, but the distribution was only 3 or 4 of different figures in multiples per box. Multiple people have been complaining about freshly opened boxes having this limited selection of figures.

WTH? WTH? No seriously, there are supposed to be twelve per case and instead there are some cases floating around out there where it's only three guys from the wave in a giant F-You to the collectors? I mean honestly, the one time I saw a case that had been picked through I recall seeing from what was left, #40, 43, 50, 47, 42, 48 (I believe) and either 46, 49 oh and of course 44 because I bought three and then a fourth one and got Warpath, Singe, Airachnid and Quickslinger, leaving behind Autobot Springer (should have brought the code so I'd know not to skip him) Blast Off and Dirge or Hook, possibly even an Insection with 46 being there.

How the hell could the distribution per case of a series that is meant to have all 12 in every case to collect get so royally f'ed up as to only be a case full of the same three or four dudes? Were people at the factory walking off with them and packing the cases with the less desireable Kreons in order to sell them on E-Bay?

The case descriptions of the Kre-O blind bags explicitly state that all 12 figures are not guaranteed. So they are neither lying nor ripping anyone off, but it certainly isa poor distribution tactic in terms of customer satisifcation.

Also, I am not certain how the case breaks down. Is it one box with all 32 figures? As that would seem overfull. When I see a box with 20+ figures and a decent assortment it appears to be overfilled. Or is it 3 boxes per case with 4 unique figures in each? If so I think that explains what I am seeing. If I am seeing what looks like what a box could normally hold, I only see a couple different types of figures. If I see an overflowing box it looks like multiple boxes/one case collapsed down providing a decent selection. Maybe it is only one display box, and 32 figures split up in separate bags that won't all fit in the box.

Has anyone directly purchased a case from BBTS or HST to see exactly how these are working? The cases do not appear to be completely random or we wouldn't be consistently seeing such huge clumping. There could be a packaging problem but I highly doubt it is workers walking away with the product. I am seeing pretty much all figures pop up in various locations. Just always clumped together.

OH TERRIFIC! Chalk up another stupid decision by Hasbro's Distribution Team, seriously, blind packed My Little Pony figures are guaranteed to have the entire set in each case at least once, possibly twice.

LEGO's very own Series of Collectible Mini-Figures ensures that an entire case as at least one or two complete sets of the series with extras of what they feel will be the more popular.

The GOD DAMN PREVIEW WAVE of Micro-Changers had six available to buy and all six were, I believe readily avaialble in all cases.

What happens when they release the first wave of Twelve? They can't be bothered to guarantee a full set or two's worth of Kreons, oh no, that would be THE INTELLIGENT THING TO DO! Instead they give you five times how ever many of one figure they can cram in the damn thing and make a case of 32 figures all identical and all worthless because after you know the codes and have an idea of who is who you are not going to waste time buying the same figures you already got. Oh no, only the unsuspecting children or parents will buy them up, hey they're only 2$ or 3.50$ in Canada, so we got two of the same one, we'll get another one next time. We don't care we love having tons of the same little dude.

What in the hell were the people over at Hasbro and Oxford thinking? Nobody, NOBODY I know at any rate, packs a series of collectible cheap things that people go apeshit over and throw their money away on packs them so you only find the same four guys in a case or multiple cases that go to the same general retailer. That is the fastest way to kill a line and the interest in collecting it... Oh God, what's going to happen with those TRU Exclusive blind packed Joes? Bad enough TRU will probably mark'em up to 5$ to gouge the hell out of us because they can, but if they only have a case with Cobra Commander or whoever and one or two other characters that's going to be ten times worse for distribution and collectors.

UGH. Now how the hell am I going to find five Insecticons to army build if the distribution and case ratios for these things are so skewed? To quote the famous Captain Haddock, BLUE BLISTERING BARNACLES!

These cases are random. Every case I have found has been different.

I hadn't seen this yet, but much like how you could make Brawn from pieces of the preview wave, by taking parts from wave 1 you can make a pretty good Kreon Rodimus! Looks like Warpath's helmet, Rampage's vest, Dirge's rear wings, Singe's windshield, etc. I'd have used Rampage's gun, and then put in in the hole in the top of the window in vehicle mode...

i guess it would appear so... I found what I thought was a newly opened case, I saw at least 2 sets of all 12 Kreons in the box and picked the ones I wanted. Left Airarachnid, Rampage, Insecticon, and Singe.

Hasbro should take notes on how to do blind-bag stuff from the people that make MLP then. Oh wait.

Alternatively: Not being able to know who you'll get completely devalues the concept of blind bags!

Man I just wish any store around here would stock them, forget actually being able to get anyone in particular.

Found Wave 2 Kreons at TRU in Fayetteville, NC
Back top right corner of bags have a number series, last 2x digits appeared unique (as before)
    40 - Singe
    41 - Inferno
    42 - Autbot Springer
    43 - Warpath
    44 - Quickslinger
    45 - Rampage
    46 - Insecticon
    47 - Blastoff
48 - Did not find but assume is Hook or Bludgeon
    49 - Dirge
    50 - Airachnid

Case looked complete - two of everything except no package 48's

Also had Beast Hunter Prime and Ripclaw Strike.
Used my last Kreon Coupons to save $15.00 total

Also had Prime Soundwave and Bubblebee, bought both with BOGO 50%

edit: just realized I am missing Hook and Bludgeon so case assortment is not complete or I was not first, display did not seem like it had been rummaged
