I love the pics, I just started to collect these lil guys and glad I found this thread.

Also since my days of scouring the internet did me no good anyone happen to know how to get their hands on one of the Orange Devy kreons other than knowing someone from Canada that shops at TRU?

 

If you get the TRU exclusive version of the Devastator construction set, that comes with the orange Devy kreon as well as the full Ironhide set (with orange porta-potty!). But that would be way pricier I imagine. Also I've heard there are slight differences (like clear purple hands on the canadian figure).

 

I have bought two sets - both are yellow Kreons, not orange.

 

Is anyone still able to find Megatron or Starscream sets in stores? I tried the Costcos I have access to for the 2-packs but no luck and it seems the redistribution of older sets are pretty static in that Marshall's only gets these and Costco only gets Megatron and Starscream.

Is there a release date for the combiners or wave 1 Microchangers?

Recently got my first actual sets but only opened Jazz so far. Does anyone think his Kreon looks better without the wings? I kept asking myself "Did Jazz have wings in the cartoon?" and he didn't but I guess the Jazz in some comic did?

I'm also trying to give Optimus a truck mode reversing his legs and bending them back. It's kind of lame that taking off his head leaves that big peg. However, it can kind of work if I can find a way to stick another pair of Optimus legs to the initial Optimus's legs. Don't know if there's a piece for that since my collection's small.

Is there a code behind the blind bag that indicates wich figure it contains? I was thinking of getting galvatron.

 

It is a code on the front of the bag. Galvatron is the one that ends in 8.

Yeah, that is what I thought :/ since I am just at this point collecting the Kreon's too dropping cash on the full set for the yellow devy may end my life by the wife. I may just have to keep my eyes open for him on evilbay same w/ the Orange one (if it ever shows up there).

 

Not a big deal, but made a custom terrocon cliffjumper and helicopter vehicons!

Hightower's backpack is so uncannily tank-like.

Suddenly, I don't mind Scrapper's weird hands as much now.
Incidentally, I increased his torso's height by 1 brick-row. While not a perfect fix, I think it helps quite a bit.

I may have to steal that Terrorcon Cliffjumper idea if/when I get another Vehicon set.

The ORIGINAL Optimus Prime brick!

 

Tried fixing Scrapper's torso by making a bit taller, using just the remaining parts from the Devastator set. One annoyance is that both arms connect to the same part, which isn't any larger than the other limb segments, so there's no way around him being skinny. Also slightly modified the arms.

I'll keep on tweaking it, but I think it's a vast improvement already.

 

Kre-O meet Capsule Microns!

 

Kmart had Decepticon Chase and Cycle Ambush sets on clearance, in Fayetteville, NC. If you want to army build, now is the time. They also had some sort of special I was unaware of; I paid $11 for the first set and $5.50 for the second. Both were marked down to $11.

 

My friend said this was posted on TFW, but I couldn't find it unless it's in the sightings thread. Wave 1 Kreons (not the preview wave) are showing up at Walgreens. I found 2 stray figures at the one near my house and my friend found what may have been a case worth of them at another. My fiance went to get the others for me. All of them were there except #45. I don't know for sure if there was a whole case or not, but I'm missing Rampage. As a reminder:
