KRE-O Appreciation Thread

I have the Optimus Prime set, which I freaking love, and I have the Megatron set on its way right now after I saw it on Amazon for $21. Can't wait.

I'm thinking of getting a couple of the smaller sets while I still can, since it looks like Target and TRU are trying to clearance them out.

I have to admit I was pretty meh about these sets at first but they've really grown on me mainly for their alt modes. I'm not that impressed by the robot modes but I chalk that up to new concepts for Hasbro designers. Lego has a very large lead on them as far as set design is concerned. I've got Optimus, Sentinel, Starscream, Bumblebee, Jazz, Mirage and Prowl. Megatron is next whenever he goes on sale. And like many I think the Kreons are awesome!

Just picked up my second big Prime yesterday for $30 at WM

But so far I have:

2xBig Optimus
Big Bumblebee
Starscream
Ratchet
Jazz
Megatron

And I'm eying up Sentinel but I'll wait till he drops a little more

Check your local TRU. I got mine on clearance.

Is he going for less than $30 yet? WM had him on sale for $30 but I was hoping to pick him up for $15-20. Apparently some Targets around town were clearancing him off for like $10-15.

I know it was below $30 or I wouldn't have bought it. Sorry I don't remember the exact price. I want to say $19.98 but I think that was Starscream.

That sounds about right... I just pulled him up on the TRU website and it looks like he's going for $20. TRU is pretty far away from me so we'll see

Oh and I randomly found Starscream on clearance at Shopko for $10

The local TRU (the one that still had him) here was clearancing Sentinel for $20. And they also had a 'Buy one Kre-O, get one half-price' deal going on, but that might be over.

I like the Kreo sets, I have Megs and the big Optimus sets, and If I where a wealthy man I would probably have several more but being that I'm not a wealthy man I find it hard to make room in my budget for them especially with all the canceled stuff that I'm having to get from over seas and what feels like Takara pushing out a new MP every 3 months.
