I got Spinister and Waspinator. I like Spinister a lot more though. He actually uses all the parts in both modes, and to transform him I only need to change the position of like, one or two pieces.

I'm off sick at the moment but before i went for my operation I went and bought a couple of kreo sets to keep me occupied, I was just going to get Sentinel but got Starscream as well since he was there and together they worked out at £30.

I actually like Starscream more, his jet mode is fantastic looking but i ignored the robot instructions and built something better myself

fantastic build man. can this be done with just the kit itself? definitely more G1 looking.

I picked up the wheeljack/ko & vortex sets yesterday. TRU still has bogo free, though no $5 off kreo coupons were around, sadly. Still $38 for the 2 sets wasn't bad. Need to put these and my ironhide devastator bonus together over the weekend.

I made a jet mode for my Thundercracker Kreon.

I had to do a bit of improvising because I don't have too many spare parts (let alone parts the right color) but I think it looks pretty cool. I just wish I could move the thrusters down a peg, but nothing stays in those holes.

The more Battleship sets I acquire the more I seriously wish people would give these things another look-see. Sure they are based on a mediocre mindless action flick that bombed at the box office, sure they don't have the added bonus of two distinct models like with the TFs, sure they aren't LEGO, but come on!

    EDIT: BEHOLD Images!

How can you NOT fall in love with these things?

(Yeah I should have had the picture ready to go before posting this, sadly I have some re-organizing to get done before I can actually take the picture. Please Stand By, I should be able to edit this post within a half hour or so to share the love.)

Glorious aren't they? And that isn't even including the crown jewel of the series/theme, because I haven't yet managed to pick up the U.S.S Missouri.

Unfortunately I will never have a 100% complete Battleship Kre-O collection, sadly I recently discovered that a small free polybagged set was offered through Hasbro's website at some point in the past called the Battle Boat. A minor little thing, but more than likely much too costly on the secondary market for my interests.

They better not pull a freebie polybagged TF or Star Trek set out for next year.

TRU is still doing their BOGO deal in my town. I got the Knockout/Wheeljack set with the Vortex set for $26 and change because they also took the $5 coupon with both sets :D

Here is a an interesting bit of history. As you may know the company that makes Kre-O for Hasbro is Oxford, a lego clone company. Well, before they did Kre-O they did a whole series of brick robots, some that even transformed!

Are thes some of Kre-O's ancestors?

OXFORD BLOCKS Droid-X Huroid RED | eBay

OXFORD BLOCKS Liclone XClone Green | eBay

Oxford also did a line of robot armor suits for their Mini-Figures. I'd loveto see suits like this for Kreons!

The only Battleship Kre-O I have any interest in is the "Combat Diver", and even only just to repaint into Seaspray:
Although some of the other so-far-unique-to-Battleship parts (ammo belt, chainsaw-arm, night vision goggles helmet) are pretty interesting ---if again just to use for custom TFs.

I don't suppose they ever made a Battleship game out of Kre-O? Seemed like an obvious and practical enough concept, given the original was basically all pegs.

I think it'd be easy enough to build your own. If you have the big Prime set, there's plenty of those folding pieces to make a proper angled board in the trailer. Make some boats out of different sized straight pieces... This definitely sounds like a project someone that isn't me needs to take up.

    I tired making a Whirl

looks...good enough. I love swappable stuff

So how many heads, helmet, and add on do you think they'll make?

There already reusing heads. And it's fine for now. I'm really amazing at how much use a single helm in a different color can get.

Sadly as far as I know, they did not. That's a pretty rad repaint, a pity the real one can't turn his head like that. The helmet/breathing tank piece is all one solid thing.

Also, my previous post now has pictures! Check'em out.

No official Kre-O Battleship game? That's a shame.

    Latest haul:
Oscure redeco guy, obscurer redeco guy, Hall of Famer Waspinator, and another Waspinator. Not bad, I love obscure bots and Beast Warriors!
Swapped Megatron and Crankstart's helmets; I think it improves both of them.
Clipped the fronts of Waspinator and Crankstart's chest armors and readjusted the kibbly bits to the back. Simple enough. Think I'll go find a 2-peg piece brick or what Botch suggested for Waspinator.
My Decepti-Kreons are no longer all gray and purple!

    And just for fun:
    "RETRIEVE THE OMEGA KEYS!"

Holy crap, that set up was hard to stand up without any kind of assistance. I thought for sure they'd fall over mid-take and I'd have to get some brick for them to stand on.

    EDIT:
Better way to give Waspinator both his wings and abdomen:

You'll need to get this piece (one-peg square with a c-clip sticking straight up) from somewhere else. I got it from some Lego set I had.

So I can only hope that GI Joe Kre-O will lead to us seeing some sorta of Joe/TF crossover toys. If anything we can build some of those Joe an dCObra vehicles into robots.

I'm betting the sets will be vehicles with little joe kreons, maybe some battlepack-like things

Wait, let me get this straight, the image shows Scarlett, Grunt (I'm assuming), Stalker (Or Flint, probably Flint since he isn't black.), Clutch, Rock'N'Roll and what I'm assuming is either Zap or Flash, but no Duke, no Snake-Eyes, none of the obvious Joes outside of Scarlett???

Count me in. Glad I can finally see this image. Looks like February is going to be a great year for Kre-O enthusiasts who love military based sets.

Now, bring on the sneak-peak images and bring on the COBRAAAAAAAAAA!

Finally found the Micro-Change Kreons, I am quite happy with my purchase of six more Decepticons. Crankstart is a fun looking little dude too. Not sure if I should get dupes for Vehicle Mode use or spare parts use honestly.

EDIT: Thanks Noideaforaname, and thank Hasbro's packaging errors for the spare clip piece from my Alien Strike dupe set. (Wound up with six instead of five), it's a bit looser, but it is nice to see Waspy with his thorax on along with the wings.

It's clearly an homage to the Marvel GI Joe issue #1. So they used the same characters.
