Good grief...all of my Prime figures are still MOC/MISB, so I forget how awesome they are loose. I used to have Voyager Optimus and the Deluxe Arcee, but I sold them a few years ago... *sigh*

I still want many of these figures...I still want that First Edition Prime, Voyager Bulkhead, the rest of the Dark Energon figures...oh, and I LOVE those Prime Rumble and Frenzy figures. They look better than I imagined, and I assumed they were great.

 

dawned upon me over the wknd, we are just over a year (and a couple of months) away from the 10 yr anniversary of the release of TFP.

 

It'd be great to start seeing Masterpiece figures, but at least there's the upcoming models of Prime and Megatron from Iron Warrior to fill the void for large premiums. I can't wait to get those!

 

yeah I'm surprised it's taken this long for 3rd party versions of tfp. good things come to those who wait, right... im hoping hasbro will at least regard the anniversary by re-issues of the first edition figures...

 

Oh! That'd be cool. Imagine if they brought back the figures (maybe made them better?) like when they rereleased the Beast Wars figures. I'd love to see my old favorites again, well my newer old favorites, TFP. Give us some of the winged eradicons in an actual shade of PURPLE!!! I'd buy 50, I swear! ... and also, for everyone, a reissue of Breakdown. Maybe if they rereleased them newer and better they could give us a better painted Knock Out figure. ... and now I'm going to daydream of this moment that I'll probably never see  

 

HEADS UP on voyager Shockwave, if you didn't already know--his tread gets kinda brittle over time. I kept mine in his bot mode most of the time where it kind of twists the tread, and since I was packing my figures up for more space I put them in their alt modes. Well, that stretched it in a way it wasn't used to sitting and caused really bad stretch marks and I could see parts of it already wanting to come apart. Today when I was gonna put some ArmorAll on it or something I noticed that it had already torn and broke in the area that connects to his arm cannon. And as a person who likes to keep my figures in pristine shape, I am deeply saddened. I do however know that there is a person who sells the treads on Shapeways and I believe they are longer than the original for a cooler bot mode look. I'm gonna buy that for him. I imagine it won't be the same color and that sucks... but it is what it is. Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky.

So just make sure that if yours hasn't broken to take care of it so that that doesn't happen to you.

 

I hate to shatter dreams, but we have about 7-8 billion years before the sun goes Red Giant and the Earth is destroyed by it. None of our rubberized plastics will survive that.

Bummer about Shockwave. I hope you can fix it up.

 

Pfft, I knew someone was gonna say how that wasn't realistic, but for the sake of the song, I had to quote it.
I dunno if our plastics will even last one billion years just as is.

 

I'm sure has been covered but I cant find it in the search. I'm in the market for a predaking after rewatching prime. What is the general consensus for the best to get: beastfire ultra predaking or Voyager 2.0 predaking?

 

size of wings ultra class predaking, and dragon mode Voyager 2.0

 

Beast Fire Ultra is the only one I need.
