Quick fix for PRID Ratchet's lack of paint apps

OK, this isn't perfect and isn't likely a long term fix but I found something interesting and decided to try it. I couldn't get real good lighting so I'm sorry for the bad pic quality. The camera flash was too bright with the white on Ratchet so I had to turn off the flash. I can try to get better pics later.

Anyway, My boy got a Ratchet toy from the McDonalds happy meal and it came with a sticker sheet. He didn't want them applied to his McD's Ratchet and doesn't care much about the toy anyway. I noticed the stickers are pretty in scale with deluxe ratchet though. So, I cut them down a bit and applied the heartbeat line. After putting them on I took an exacto knife and carefully trimmed out the panel lines and here it is. Cons, it looks like a sticker, yes. But that's what Takara is doing anyway, right? Pros, it actually looks pretty good on there.

Nice! I won't be able to do this thought, as I will be painting that portion of his arms orange for screen accuracy. Robot mode accuracy is more important to me for obvious reasons.

Yeah, understandable. I don't trust myself with paint on a hard to find fig that I can't replace very quick. lol

Nice bit of MacGyvering there! Though I'm confident that Reprolabels will make a sticker sheet set for Ratchet sooner or later, this is nonetheless very neat! Good find!
