Damn, that blows. It explains their store being down. I feel bad for the Crave team.

 

I guess back to ebay and ebid for me.

damn, it really was a Community not just an online store. I've met some really cool people through that site. You will be missed Crave.  

 

That sucks! It was definitely my favorite place to get TFs. Prices could due so much better there than other places, and its buyer satisfaction policy made me feel really safe as a buyer.

 

Definitely a bummer, I liked those guys.

 

They did exactly what they set out to do. Before Crave even happened they contacted me as "fans". After some back and forth I knew they weren't in it as fans (their huge lack of common transformers knowledge gave it away). It was all business and the set up was to build up enough interest to make it viable for sale. It'll be back under new ownership.

 

They were decent folks.

It was a good alternative to ebay and its associated bullshit as well

 

I made a ton off of Crave and bought a ton as well. Really sucks as now I will have a couple grand hole in my pocket now every month.

It will be missed sorely!

 

sad to hear , i was interested in using it as a buyer but could not as the did not use a set up that allowed other methods of paying besides paypal. Can't help but wonder if limiting payment options may have played a part in its demise.

 

I used it a couple of times, but found it to be rather slow and clunky to load pages and what not. I finally stopped using it.

 

I hope the new owner makes some improvements and opens it back up soon.

Same here. I tried it out a couple of times. Once as a buyer, once as a seller. Both transactions worked out so well, I was going to start using it more. In fact, I was about to list all the unsold stuff from my sales thread ( and some other stuff ) on there this week.

 

Darn...that's all I can say.

 

This sucks. I have a buch of stuff up for sale.

I remember getting a PM from Erin a few years back in trying Crave before it went public.

Crave came a long way since it first went up. It's sad the the original team go and I hope the new owners make good use of it for us fans.

 

Thats a shame, I was just starting to use it too, got my whole collection cataloged on there, I really liked that feature where you could say you had it or you wanted it.

I really hope the new owners keep it what it is.
