"Because they can." I guess is the best answer I can generate.

    Typical AFA thread:
    posting of wondering about AFA
People into AFA - supporting what they like with their opinions
People not into AFA - supporting what they dislike with their opinions
certain persons will insult the opposing opinion
    thread ensues

    *shrug*

I simply can't afford an AFA collection to enjoy this hobby. That's the bottom line for me. I vastly enjoy an AFA figure in the sense of having a high appreciation for them (/bad pun). There are others who enjoy this hobby differently than I do, whether it be AFA stuff or whatever.

I enjoy loose figures. I enjoy "mint in box" figures. I enjoy sealed figures. I enjoy AFA figures. I can say that I do have at least one of each of these groups in my collection, though my own collection is not characterized by any one group, nor will I limit myself and my thinking as such. My limitations begin and end with what I'm able and willing to do for my collection.

Everyone needs to learn to appreciate all facets of collecting..............
I collect extremely rare and highgrade sealed G1, and have had numerous "Grails" pass through my hands over the years.
I love to look at huge loose collections, and can appreciate the guys that marvel in the engineering involved in the toys actually transforming. I also love to see collectors that display artwork and off-the-wall items.

    It all interests me.

I love to have rare pieces in case fresh condition sitting on my shelf for my viewing pleasure at my disposal. Kinda like a museum-------On Demand.

The guys that track down every rare loose mini-bot deserve respect. The guys that love to display the movie-verse toys deserve respect. The guys that spend thousands on their Holy Grail AFA item need to be drug tested.....J/K

When it is all summed up, We all love the same toy line, just in different measures.

    Different Strokes for Different Folks!!!!

Some people prefer a 1973 split bumper Camaro to a 2012 Transformers edition Camaro.

    Who's Right, Who's Wrong...........NOBODY!!!!!!

    Enjoy!!!
