First time holding any RID mold on my life and this guy's awesome! A seller on my local ebay equivalent is selling these for $15 a piece plus cheapest shipping for 2pcs max at $2. States these are old Hasbro stock.

Picked up two, was a bit worried they could be KOs, but they ate heavy and solid as fuck and come with Hasbro instruction booklets. My guess is they had their packaging damaged and spent years in some warehouse at the ass end of nowhere.

Another details that convinced me that they're legit is that various parts are bound with those elastic bands, but these are brittle, aka very, very old.

Anyway, this mold is awesome! I think the only thing is missing is some waist swivel and hands articulation, but it's still amazing.

Both have slight scuff marks on the chest chrome ,but nowhere else. I guess the gradient chrome there is much more fragile than anywhere else.

That he is, the more I fiddle with him, the more I like him. He even has wrist swivels. And that face, simply awesome.

Might have to replace the screws, though, my theory of him being stuck in a backwoods warehouse is further backed up by the screws being quite oxidised on the surface.

It's a bit sad that I paid only ¢30 more for him than for a boxed TLK Berserker, while this thing feels solid as a tank.

I searched a couple times and didn't see one, and thought it was strange there wasn't one. So here goes, apologies if I did just miss where there was one already!

My brother's first transformer came from this line. He got the super mode x-brawn. He confirmed with me just this morning that he still has it, albeit it's in a heavily used state. I think he said a door was missing. It was well loved that's for sure.

I loved playing with my brothers super mode version of x-brawn. It was his first figure and it got a lot of miles on it. Still has it today, albeit it's beat the hell up.

RID was the only line that felt like it was some wonderful alternate future. The designs felt like they jumped like twenty years in an instant after the weirdness of Beast Machines, though there were so few. I definitely need to pick up a new RID Megatron.
