    You win some.....you lose some.

In this case:The buyer won a mint in bubble bumblebee......but lost a ton of money.

    Sounds stupid......but then again......I wasn't the buyer.

Looks worth it to me. Pretty flawless card. People flipping out on the price of it is funny. The fact you don't get or enjoy misb collecting really is irrelevant to the buyer. Sayin just over 2k is a massive amount of money does hint at wallet size though. Just saying.

I got a MOSC Bumblebee for $10. It was the key chain one. To me, it is just as good.

Yeah DL2W! tear it open and play with it, come on.

While youre at it, I have this really rare old Andy Warhol Print from 1984 that is the nicest surviving specimen of the initial run. Paid a shitload of money for it. Write your grocery list on it. Better yet fold it up into a paper airplane.

So really dude, why didnt you just buy the keychain. Whats wrong with you?

I just sent this off to AFA, hope it pulls an AFA 85!

    I normally just win.

I won probably the nicest sealed example of this Bumblebee, and didn't lose anything. $2600 is not a lot of money to spend on the figures in my collection.

A lot of these posts sound stupid.

    For reals!

    Real talk!

I do get my wallet and Bible confused sometimes.

    :lol

There's enough room in this hobby for low-end & high-end collectors.

I have seen your collection, and know how much they are worth. So I don't doubt that comment for one second.

Great grab on the Bumblebee. I can't waiting for my Factory Sealed Apeface and Mindwipe to arrive so I can send them in for grading and complete my Headmaster Decepticon Collection.

I do find it hilarious that in a thread where people are hammering you for spending so much money on a G1 figure, that your location is listed as "Da Liquor Store"

Seriously though, it's a rare specimen for sure and It's nice to know that such pristine examples from 1984 not only exist but are in the hands of someone who will take care of it.

As for the price, it's your money and you spent it how you wanted on what you wanted. I'm sure we all have something in our collection that someone else would look at and say "you spent how much on THAT???"

This is well spoken. I think many of us, if we talked to people who are totally not into Transformers, would find that many who would say just that. I could say the same about those persons and the things they spend on, too, though :lol

But I digress . . . As M_M says here, I'm really glad that quite a few persons in our hobby have the capacity to get some of these items and really take care of them. :)
